Completely stupid question regarding Hulu

I gave up cable TV almost two years ago. I rely on Hulu (the freebie) to catch up on the shows I like.

I find that Hulu "blacks out" after about two consecutive hours of play. The screen blacks out and all I get is sound. At that point I have to reboot my computer.

Is it my computer or a bandwidth issue (Comcast is my ISP)? I don't have this problem with Netflix.

I didnt know they had that many current shows for free? I thought you would have to pay to get most of the newer stuff?
