Has anyone watched this show called Haven on the syfy network? Im not into supernatural, science fiction movies or shows but I like the main actress Emily Rose so I wanted to see it. After watching the 1st season I liked it for what it is. Its unrealistic like most syfy crap but they do a good job at it! The 2nd season starts in July and hopefully it keeps my interest like the 1st season did. Nothing ground breaking here but something to watch during the summer when there is nothing else on!

I watched this show's first season and after a slow start, as I think the show was trying to figure out what exactly it was, it ended strong, with an awesome season finale cliffhanger. A real WTF?! moment.
A bit X-Files, a bit Twin Peaks... I'm looking forward to the next season.

That is too bad. I guess DVD it the way to go - or maybe SyFy's website has episodes to stream.
I've only seen the first episode of the new season but it has taken a very strange twist in regards to Audrey and who she is... I thought we were going to find out the other girl who claimed to be her to be part of the "troubles" but it turned out not to be... It's getting really good with the central mystery of how she is related to the town's history.

Despite this past week's ridiculous Troubles storyline - how very Maximum Overdrive - I liked the bit of a deeper dive into the two Audrey's mystery. The disappearing farmhouse. However, now that the other Audrey is gone... I hope they just don't go back to the weekly solve the Trouble storyline. I hope they move that central mystery along.

I thought it was stupid that they already got rid of the 2nd Audrey. I really liked where that was going and thought it continue to be interesting but now they had her loose her memory already and shes gone? I liked the relationship the 2 of them where building it would have been good to see them figure this out together!

SYFY’S HAVEN SERIES WILL LAUNCH UNPRECEDENTED FULLY INTEGRATED TWITTER STORY LINE BEGINNING FRIDAY, AUGUST 12 (http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/08/10/syfys-haven-will-launch-unprecedented-fully-integrated-twitter-story-line-beginning-friday-august-12/100076/)
In the story, Vince (Richard Donat) and Dave (John Dunsworth), who run the newspaper in Haven, join Twitter as newcomers to the medium. Viewers who follow their characters (@VinceHaven, @DaveHaven) will see them interact with a mysterious Twitter user (@ColdInHaven) who knows more about Haven – and Vince and Dave – than anyone should.
Said Executive Producer Lloyd Segan: “Although Twitter has been featured in TV shows before, this is the first time a storyline from a television series has been fully integrated with the popular online service. The story has been created in such a way that viewers who don’t follow the Twitter plot can still enjoy the show. For those that do, there will be a special meaning to events in Haven during these seven episodes.”
As the special plot unfolds on Twitter, viewers will catch glimpses of it in the show itself, where they’ll be directed to follow the Twitter conversation through special promos. The outcome to the Twitter story will be revealed in the second-season finale on Friday, September 30.
I need to check it out. Allthough SYfY pissed me off by canceling Eureka (My favorite show)

We are getting 12 new episodes in 2012 (plus a Christmas special this year), and then it's done.

I see a lot of people have thought that after seeing headlines that it was cancelled - a more accurate description of what happened is they're ending the show after one more season.

The problem with it is that they're wrapping up the filming of the next season this month so now they have to write and shoot a finale in that time.

Syfy renews 'Haven' (http://www.variety.com/article/VR1118044312?refCatId=14)
Nice. Season 3 coming next year.
This season was great. Much better than season one and it really found it's stride. Some great guests and secondary characters really helped too, especially Jason Priestly as Audrey's boyfriend. He was just awesome as a cranky marine biologist. Very funny too. I hope his character returns.
The season finale was a bit of a surprise, once again. Especially with Nathan. Do we know how he knew the women Audrey spoke to? He knew this woman's address, wrote it down and gave it to Audrey. She's been looking for answers for two years, and now he gives her the biggest hint of all?
And Duke! Did we know that Nathan has that tattoo on his arm that Duke said would be the mark of the man who kills him? I don't recall seeing that before.

I'm thinking it's really someone with a shapeshifter trouble. That tattoo wouldn't just show up for one scene.
