Its like what 15 below out? gets me thinking of Opening day!!
Monday April 1st
Mets Vs. Pittsburg 1:30pm. Think im gonna take off from work & go see the game. Tixx go on sale 2/17/02.
I think i'll get seats in the lower lodge - section 11 maybe.... I'll be there with the "World Series or Bust!" sign wearing a Vaughn jersey.

Only 10 days till Pitchers & Catchers!!!

I went to a home opener at Fenway a few years ago and it sucked!

It's way too cold out and everyone is wearing huge parkers and the seats there are so small.

Man I wish they would just blow up Fenway Park and build a new stadium.

Fenway maybe old n' sucky but its got character, summer games there are a great time.
Also i know NY in April isnt exactly balmy, but its better then today, also just the fact that the season starts then sorta' harkens the start of summer (in my head anyway) eventhough its not really nice out till like mid may

Fenway's a great place to catch a game in June but it was built in an era where people were midgets. Those seats are a little too snug.

Ah, if only I was born in 1886. I would viewed as a giant God!

I remember a few years back having tickets to Opening Day for the Yankees, and the game got snowed out! What a disappointment.

We did what any other self-respecting Americans would do at 12 noon...went to the bar and got smashed.

i went to opening day in 1998 and it poured. the umbrella we had didnt help. i hadnt been that wet in a loooong time ;)
anyway, i CAN'T WAITuntil baseball season starts!!

Why don't they just blow the Red Sox up too while they're at it.....it's not like they're ever gonna win again or anything ;) hehe

Did you go to Stans? That's the best place to go if it's raining (or in rare instances like that snowing)

I went to Opening Day for the Yankees last year, it was chilly but not really cold...

Yeah baby can't wait for opening day... mainly cause two of my friend and me bought the sunday season ticket thing for the Mets... i am so pumped for this coming season.... Mets are gonna kick some ass....

I don't know.. the last time i went to the mets home page it said tickets for single games go on sale on feb 17th. I bought the sunday ticket thing on the 23rd of Jan... shit i hope they don't go on sale this thursday... and yes ivy i like the METS... i also am a Jets fan and a soccer fan.. still wanna be friends ;) .......as soon as i can think of a knock on the yankees i will post it until keep the bashing going. it makes me laugh...
