Just finished portal 1 for PC. It was a good time. Might rent portal 2 for PS3. I don't see spending 50+ on it.

And I think that is Portal 2's biggest problem. Among the many outstanding traits Portal had, great pacing was one of its best. It had a great story and great gameplay, and both of those aspects built and built, then peaked at the exact right time. With Portal 2...

the gameplay is familiar, of course, but it added a few new things, and it still made you get creative with your thinking. And the story (while I don't understand how or why I'm back in the bowels of Aperture), if I ignore that part, was entertaining and engaging...

UNTIL the point where I thought I was escaping, and instead got flushed down into 1950s Aperture. Not only did the storytelling experience go to shit for me, I thought the gameplay turned into a huge clusterfuck with the addition of the red and blue gels, which felt tacked on and gimmicky.

At the moment, the game has lost all momentum for me. After zooming through the first portion of the game in two nights, I've spent the last three nights playing on-and-off, joylessly trudging through the Cave Johnson levels, wishing I could get back to the REAL game.

If they would've let me escape when I wanted to escape, I'd have been a happy boy. I suppose it's possible the game ends with an awesome climax, but it'll have to be REALLY awesome now...if I ever even finish.

Seems to me you are more like the 60 dollar crowd then the Astronaut, War Hero or Olympian set

Say good bye Caroline

I just finished Portal 2..I liked the ending and thought the game was great. So much more to do then in Portal 1. Just wondering when they are going to add some DLC.

I like a game that is some what easy and I know I am going to finish.
Only bad thing...it is a quick game but I will be re-playing it.

Also the humor is good but I wonder if they had a more dark setting and not as humorous, how would that be.

I totally 100% disagree. I wanted more of the gels. I thought they really added to the game.

I cant remember the last time I laughed this hard at a game. And its impossible not to see glados as an upside dont bound up fetish chick once you read about it.
