Bees sting elderly couple to death in Texas

MCALLEN, Texas — An elderly South Texas couple died and their son was injured after a swarm of bees attacked them on their remote ranch, authorities said on Wednesday.

Richard Steele told investigators he and his parents were attacked after they moved a wood stove in the cabin and exposed a hive of bees, Espinoza said.
William Steele tried to escape the bees by running from the cabin, but he fell and succumbed to hundreds of bee stings, Espinoza said.

Myrtle Steele was airlifted to a Corpus Christi hospital, where she died on Tuesday. Her son was transported to a Laredo hospital and released, Espinoza said

i heard this story somewhere. it wasnt killer bees. if it was, you can bet your ass the son would be dead too. It was just regular bees they disturbed and they died cause they were too old to get away in time.

Crazy to think that they lived through the depression, all of the wars, 90+ years of keeping it real just to be killed by fucking bees!

I also think about someone that gets killed by sharks - and ends up shark shit floating in the ocean.

I ran over a ground hive of hornets once with a lawn mower and immediately 1000's of pissed off bastards were ready for a fight. I jumped off the mower and ran out of the yard, across th road and up to the pool next door (about 250 feet). Alot of those fucks followed me that far - raging! I jumped in and stayed under as long as I could only to get a quick breath for about 5 times. Man they have a long memory!
I fixed them somebitches that night with gasoline - Hahaha! Fucking bees!~

I hate bees. I think that they are worst than any other insects. My friend got into a car accident because a bee came in his car and he started panicking and went off a small bridge.
