Anyone else checking out this series on Spike TV? Wednesday nights at 10pm.
It is a realistic look into the operations of a very small underground mine. I have spent roughly 8 years working in the coal industry and this is as close as you can get without putting on a light and heading into the dark.

Bob I can see why you'd be into this being that you've worked or are working in the coal industry. I tried to get into it, and to me watching this show is about as much fun as actually mining coal.

Well, despite Gutter's preference for natural gas, this show is doing very well on Spike. It's one of their top rated new shows. Will probably get a second season.
