The time has come to announce the Fugitive's plan -- now that the weather is better let's see if any old WJFK listeners or any other board members within range of Northern Virginia, Maryland, or YOUR federal city, Washington, D.C. would like to get together in Northern Virginia for a beer, a coffee, or to knock back about seven FIVE HOUR ENERGY SHOTS.

I am currently bunkered in a Peruvian hostel in Manassas, Va., the site of one of the bloodiest Civil War battles, and now no longer part of the American South but officially part of South America. We could also converge on a dive like the 1320 Club II in Springfield --pasties bar. That might make the ladies uncomfortable but how many actually are on this board anyhow? And even if there are some they probably look like Chaz Bono.

Hey I've been away so we can take proposals on the venue. I've been in fine establishments and skid row bars, the Fugitive plays it as it lays. If nobody contributes any ideas I'll announce a Fairfax location here soon.

But let's set the date for less than two weeks from now FRIDAY JUNE 3.

The one-armed man is invited as well--we'll call a 24 hour truce. Hell, I never liked my wife that much anyway.

Two problems... June 1st is a Wednesday, and the old FNL location closed down. I could possibly make it, though if the date works out.

I suggest you start a new thread about a Northern VA get together, so more people will notice it.
