Dayposters: what's your desk look like?

A lot of us post from work. What's your desk/work space like? Neat and tidy? Cluttered annd messy? Do you have a lot of personal items around or is it bare?

I have tons of pictures of friends, family, and pets. Lots of toys-- a Dr. Evil figure, an Iron Giant toy, a Ren and Stimpy figure, a stuffed SpongeBob SquarePants. My desk is always cluttered, but I know where everything is. And I have at least 3 pairs of shoes under my desk.

It's home away from home. All I need is a pillow under my desk and I'm set!

clutter bothers me. My desk is very bare and impersonal. the only thing of mine on my desk is a farside calendar.

My desk is sort of in the middle. I don't have much personal stuff on it, since I'm constantly moving stuff around (setting up computers and such). They tend to get in the way.

I bring my laptop in, and have whatever I need in the form of pictures, etc on there. It's my virtual picture frame.

File cabinet... I have no idea what I ahve put in there, mostly stuff I knew I shouldn't throw out, complete unorganized.

Boening Calender... this month feature Pictures of the AH-64 Appache Longbow

Picture of the Nimrod MPA and the a photo of the C-17 Cargo aircraft.

Then a RAH 66 Comanche Poster

Turning to my right, WWF Picture from 1998, NY Yanyeees 2000 Championship, AH-1z Cobra, F-18E/F, and a UH 60 BlackHawk.

On my desk, 4 pictures of my best friends, and one of my God-daughter.

also Pile of papers scattered everywhere. One pile of Defence Magazines and Newspapers, two Proposals that I am working on, and a pile of Export License info that I am currently getting educated on.

Plus a pile of Maketing material I need to update.

Oh and on my computer I have a Britney Spears Wallpaper thgat feature her new movie Crossroads. And my screen saver is a crolling marque saying "I hate this place... nothing works here..."

I work out of my home. So my desk is right off my living room area. It's tough to get motivated sometimes but I worked in corporate America for many years and don't miss a lot of the bullshit that goes along with working in an office. However, I do miss the good things like comradery, office birthday parties and stealing office supplies.

Regardless, my desk is a mess. But I have to stay on top of it or else it makes the whole house, by comparison, look like a pit.

I post during the day, but only when I go home for lunch. So it's the same cluttered with crap desk I'm always on at home. CD's, bills, DVD's, occasional porn, A knife, spare glasses, mp3 player, guitar picks, and the severed head of Alfredo Garcia.

kinda cluttered in an organized way....
i have one of those desks where there are 2 of them. i have my billing stuff on the right part of my desk. my big calendar by my computer so i can doodle when im bored or on the phone.
i have my beenie baby cats on top of my computer, and pictures of my cats on my desk. and on my wall i have some more pics

My desk looks cluttered with papers and registrations and check payments so that i can hide the fact that I have nothing to do. I also have time sheets for me and my assistant. I have all my books out so i can do my homework.
Report binders, debt collector lists, pictures of all my friends and family.
Toys (all my mini beany babies, my kitties and best of all my bubbles toys!)

On my desk I have a Cooper Electic flat calender thing with my laptop on top. My desk is also like 2 desks in one. I like it. I have my stereo/cd player to the right and my Okidata printer to the left for the billing. The second part of my desk is to the left of me with a pile of papers and bills of my own actully that I have to pay. Oh,and my empty coffee mug sits behind the laptop. prett boring...I am always switching job sites so I don't have much personal stuff with me. Oh yeah, and post-its everywhere!!! I am the post it bitch. I love them!

although i haven't been posting from work recently since i'm too damn busy, i often do. my desk is a huge mess. papers everywhere, but i know where everything is. when i clean, i can never find anything. i have a few posters up (which no one seems to appreciate any too much, but whatever, it's my desk) - the clash, sid vicious, pete yorn, and vast. i have a little doll hanging from a noose with push pins in its eyes, a devil duckie, a plush dumbo, a moose cleanimal (a sponge thing with a moose's head and ass coming out either side), ... i've got lots of shit on my desk
