I could care less as I'm not an AT&T or T-Mobile customer. My only concern is how this will affect me getting my Carly Foulkes fix.

They still need to get through all the red tape and have this merger approved. It could take about 12 months or so before that happens.

I'm sure their networks combined can only help coverage once the merger goes through. Yet never underestimate the potential for both these companies to fuck it up.

Well, I was considering moving to AT&T when my Verizon contract is up. Just wanted to see what they would offer me, maybe it's better than what Verizon would offer to keep me.

But now, I think I might wait to see the effects of this on their pricing and coverage.

Yea Verizon isn't the best priced and really seems on par with the other larger companies. As long as nothing goes wrong, it's great dealing with them. When something goes wrong, you hear a few nice stories and a few horror stories. There's plenty of people who won't use a certain carrier because of a bad experience.

I was just going to look at AT&T in a couple months when my Verizon contract is up. I'm hoping that's long enough to hear about any potential problems that popped up after this huge merger.

I hope they don't allow this deal to go through, even though the networks are more compatible then the rumored t-mobile sprint deal, the sprint deal would've left all three large carriers much closer.
