The problem I'm having is with syncing my itunes. I had to restore my ipod, and now, even though I have over 9,100 songs on my itunes, only about 90 songs are syncing to my ipod. I have no idea why it's doing this or how to fix it. Please help!

Check sync settings in iTunes. You might only have one specific playlist syncing to the iPod, not the entire library.
Unless you check "Sync entire library", it will only sync the selected playlists, albums, or genres.

Is the power turned on?
Is it connected to your PC with a USB cable?
Try turning it off for 60 seconds and then turning it back on.
Hope that helped.
I've been taking troubleshooting classes through
my local cable company. I think I am getting really good at it.

When you turn on your ipod does a piece of toasted bread or a bagel pop out of it? Because that might not be an ipod at all.

Maybe your sigpic is taking up too much space on it.

You could probably lose the live version of In A Gadda Da Veda and anything by Arlo Guthrie..That'll free up about 60 or so gigs..

Have you tried shaking your ipod and blowing some air into it before you try to connect it?

I did click entire library, and when that didn't work, I did it manually by checking every name in the playlist and every playlist and I got the same result with both.

Yeah, I'm using a USB, and I tried turning it off first. Same result.

I've had this issue for some time. I have plenty of space, but only like 80% of my songs show up on my iPhone. I ended up moving everything to a new folder and then synching to that, all the missing songs showed up, but a new chunk of music was missing. Very frustrating.

OK, Now what the hell is going on!?
I deleted the songs I had on itunes and reinstalled them from the backup drive I have them on, and then when I went to sync the ipod it only added about 30 songs. So then I uninstall itunes from the computer, then reinstall it, and when I reinstalled it, the playlist was still there, and it still wouldn't sync all the songs! What am I doing or not doing?
