Is Phonesex/Cybersex cheating???

Me and my friend Julia had a conversation about this yesterday, but we kept disagreeing, and I'd be curious to know what the HK thought. If you're in a relationship with someone, is phonesex or cybersex with either a stranger or someone you already know cheating???

SUNNDOGGY8 - The best rule of thumb in these situations is to consider whether you'd consider it cheating if your partner did these things. If it's not OK for her to do, it's not OK for you to do either.

Personally, I believe that anything that reduces the bond of intimacy between a couple cannot help but to have negative consequences in their relationship.

Love is both physical and mental. Cybersex and phone sex with strangers is a cheap substitute.

In reality, I was surprised, because she(A FRIEND!) thought that it wasn't cheating, while I thought that it would be. Hmmmmm.
