I have been using xmicroplayer to listen online for some time now. Since Sirius migrated the old xm online radio interface to this new siriusxm online player xmicro no longer works.
I would really like to have a dedicated app on my computer that will allow me to listen to siruis xm.
does anybody know of a working program that would allow me to do this?
Thank you budday's!!

I'm sure somebody will create a new app within the next few days, but you also should be able to just use your XM login info on a Sirius player/widget.

xmtuner is awesome thank you very much for the suggestion.
Just curious, is there anyway to make it autologon and autotune directly into a station so it starts playing on it's own? I want to create a scheduled event to launch it at 6am so it will be like my alarm clock and O&A are playing first thing when they start up.
Thanks again!

I've never tried it and the support forums/wiki pages don't mention it but I would guess you can copy the URL for the channel you want to wake up to and save it as a playlist (e.g. 'xm202') in WMP. Then add the scheduled event as '"C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe" /playlist xm202'.

I was going to suggest something similar. I mainly run XMTuner so I can listen to Ron & Fez while I'm at work. I use the Run as Service option, and I automatically restart it each day right before R&F just to be safe. They block both siriusxm and ronfez.net at my job now.
For automatic playback, you just need to schedule a task to launch XMTuner and then fire up Media Player with a url like http://localhost:19081/streams/202/high (that's the default port).
I also use the XM Online Radio Desktop Gadget (http://www.buildagadget.com/Product.php?Code=XM). It's convenient. The only feature I miss is automatic reconnect.

Thanks guys for all your help. I was able to use the service and the link to automatically play 202 upon login.
I use this as an alarm clock and I also use it because i'm busy at work with meetings and what not. So i use a program called total recorder to record o&a and r&f. This program has an option to schedule recordings and and automatically launch a url or other event among a bunch of other options. The recordings get saved to my pc and then i use a program called subsonic to share the recordings with myself through an internet portal and an android app. This allows me to listen to the buddays anytime i want and i don't miss anything b/c i can pause the show when i get pulled away from my desk.
Thanks again for all your help!
