The Audi commercial was good.
The doritos with the dog was typical.

I'm stuck with stupid Canadian commercials, and they're not even new. They're just repeats of old ones.

Seems perfectly safe to me.
Seems perfectly safe to me.
And I can't think of anything more romantic than a robotic car voice telling me that a first date was a success.
Did....... did I just see a back alley dick attachment Super Bowl commercial?
the funniest commerical before halftime was the career builder for me. With the apes driving the car.

Saying " Imported from Detroit " doesn't seem to say good things about Detroit. Just saying.

She kicked him, slammed his face into a pie, shoved a bar of soap in his mouth and tried hurling a can of pepsi at his head. Not offensive at all, but if it was reversed there'd surely be an uproar.

I would bitch more about the girl getting to hit and abuse her husband more then the black vs white issue.

Probably the biggest fail of the night was from online coupon service Groupon, who's having to state for the record that they do think that you should help people:
Chief Executive Andrew Mason said in a Monday blog post that the company is tweaking the end of the ads to draw attention to the philanthropic causes they were intended to support.
“Ads are traditionally about shameless self promotion, and we’ve always strived to have a more honest and respectful conversation with our customers,” Mason wrote. “We would never have run these ads if we thought they trivialized the causes — even if we didn’t take them as seriously as we do, what type of company would go out of their way to be so antagonistic?”
The spots, which marked the first time Groupon ran television ads, were meant to be parodies of television public service announcements, Mason explained on an earlier blog post published on Sunday. The Chicago-based startup had hoped to send up self-important, celebrity-narrated PSAs while also encouraging consumers to donate to charitable organizations.
Groupon had set up a Web site, SaveTheMoney.org, that encouraged visitors to donate to causes featured in the commercials: Rainforest Action Network, buildOn, Greenpeace and the Tibet Fund. The company is contributing matching donations of up to $100,000 for all of the organizations but Greenpeace, where donations will be matched by up to $100,000 in Groupon credit.
The problem was that while the ad’s tagline was “save the money,” neither the URL for the donations site nor the names of the philanthropies appeared in the commercials, making the spots seem glib at best and tasteless at worst. The Tibet ad featuring actor Timothy Hutton generated a backlash on social media sites such as Twitter, with users taking offense at what appeared to be Groupon making light of Tibet’s human rights crisis to peddle coupons.
“The people of Tibet are in trouble,” Hutton said in the ad. “Their very culture is in jeopardy. But they still whip up an amazing fish curry.”
Hutton went on to describe a 50 percent discount he received at a Himalayan restaurant in Chicago. Another spot featuring actress and model Elizabeth Hurley bemoaned the destruction of rainforests before touting a discounted Brazilian wax.
I think I got what they were going for at the time, I just thought they were stupid.
