I hate the Russian guy already. He just likes everything.

He finally hates something, and it happens to be my favorite movie of all time (Amores Perros). And he hates James Franco in 127 Hours.

Saw the show last week and have it set to record tonight. I know he liked everything last week, but I still appreciated the fact that a good film criticism show is back on television.

I hate the Russian guy already. He just likes everything.

He actually doesn't like everything, but he gives stuff thumbs up. He's like a film buff who can appreciate even crappy movie for something. In this case, he's looking into what the movie was trying to do and what it accomplished.
If you asked him to name a top 50 films of the years at the end of 2011, these thumbs up flicks won't make his list.

He's at least got an interesting take on each film, and you can see that his knowledge of cinema is vast, he just needs a better catchphrase than "I disagree completely."
