Tom Ziuko (Robot Artist) called me last night from the hospital. Most of you who know him on this site know he's brilliant with the pics. He's done a lot of the front pages here and created a bunch of avatars for different people. He did most of the graphic work for my last couple CDs.
Tom went into the hospital about a month ago with acute kidney failure. He's gonna be released in the next week. The good news is he won't have to be on dialysis the rest of his life. The bad news is that as I write this, scientists and mathematicians from around the globe are attempting to calculate his hospital bill.
Tom's a freelance comic book guy - a colorist. He's a single guy and he doesn't have insurance.
His friend Alan Kupperberg is doing a kind of informal fundraiser on facebook. You can read about that on my site (http://radioghost.com/?p=1273).
