Fuck that. The only reason people don't vote for John Kuhn is their hate of whitey.

Thats not true. I think Tom Bradys the best QB in the league. I just think that what Vick has done this season, especially considering he hadnt started an NFL game in 3 years and the fact his O line blows camel dick, is just too impressive to ignore.

I've never found an answer for that. I sometimes can't even have the first sentence of a post to stay in all caps. I was able to PARTIALLY fix it. FRUSTRATING!

Im bringing it up as a reference as to why what hes done is more impressive to me. What would have been more impressive this year? If Jimmy Claussen came into the league and threw 35 touchdowns, or if Peyton Manning did it? If you say its equally impressive that just fucking ridiculous.
Regardless, he took what many believed to be a 7-9 team this year....without him QBing (and wouldve picked a worse record WITH him as QB before the season) and made it into a possible 11 win team.

oh, we should always base someone's performance on a bunch of has-been's dumb preseason predictions.

Ah, Vick should get a lot of 2nd and some 3rd place votes in my mind, but NOT get the MVP. You thought the team had such good weapons that Kolb would throw about 35 tds this year TS, so that no potential for the Eagles is crap. They are in it every year and Vick had a whole year to get back into football shape and his playbook covered.
I'm not saying what he has done isn't impressive at all, but to me he's not the MVP.

Looking at those stats, and taking non stat related things into consideration, Vick could EASILY be MVP with one or two better games. He did far better than he should have. But Brady should definitely get the MVP (barring any possible radical changes in week 17).
I hate Brady. I like Vick.
Brady for the win.

Some huge deciding factors for me are divisional opponents, conference opponents, out of conference opponents (fuck it I should have just said strength of schedule!), ball control 4 ints in 15 games with 3 fumbles and 1 lost for Brady versus 6 ints in 12 games with 11 fumbles and 3 lost for Vick. Add to this the core of weapons at their disposal and Tom simply has been amazing. Not that Vick hasn't, this past game excluded, but Brady has been...well Tom fucking Brady. But all come in a distant 2nd or worse to the SANCHIZE!
1 Sanchize

I hate Brady as well but his numbers, and the lack of INTs, is pretty telling.
I heard one analyst say that Brady was the best QB this year but Vick was the most exciting and that's why he should be the MVP.
That's ridiculous.
Who says that running around and making plays is any better than sitting back there and making plays ?
Because a guy's a scrambling/running QB that makes him better ?

Way to be classy Brady.
During his weekly Monday appearance on sports radio 850 WEEI, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was asked his thoughts on winning another Most Valuable Player award. Brady previously won the award in 2007.
Speaking with Boston Globe columnist Bob Ryan and former Patriots teammate Troy Brown, Brady said the award doesn't make sense to him because football is a team sport.
"I can understand the Most Valuable Golfer or something like that," Brady said, before mentioning Eagles quarterback Michael Vick and Colts quarterback Peyton Manning as great players who fit what their teams do well.
"Unfortunately, it's really a quarterback award. Not a lot of other great players get that recognition, which they probably should. There are so many great players in the league. I guess it's something that they have to do. The only award I ever care about is a Super Bowl ring. That's the only one that's important to me."

I couldn't agree more with Brady here. On the other end of the spectrum, here's Vick's take. Vick Picks Vick (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slug=capress-fbn_eagles_vick-5492133)
In all fairness, he did say this before his performance versus Minny. Perhaps he'd change his pick if asked now?

When I re-read my comment it comes off as sarcastic but it wasn't meant to be. That was a good response by Brady. Vick saying he would vote for himself just came off as...well..yeah. Kind of seems like a trend with some Eagles players.

He led an average at best team to a 14-2 record. He threw 4 picks all year with Deion Branch as his #1 WR (well, for 10 games or so). His two RBs were an undrafted guy and someone cut in the beginning of the season by the Jets. His two starting TEs were rookies. What he did with his team was fucking remarkable.

Nope, you're just a tart. I posted this in between week 16 and 17. So there was only one game at best left and Vick didn't even play in week 17. Hence, you had his whole year to factor in your dumb choice.

actually. it looks like you posted it an hour into the humbling philly loss to the vikings in week 16 (at a point in the game when philly was up). that loss, plus yet another game vick didn't play week 17 could easily have swayed someone on the fence.
