I use this handy program every damn day, it's so awesome and free. Basically, i don't use torrents anymore unless i have to because of all the new file sharing sites that are out there like megaupload(best) rapidshare, filesonic, hotfile. The list goes on and on. If you haven't heard of these sites, they are a great alternative to torrents. Basically they are free sites that host files that you directly download from. Theres no uploading like with torrents but, you do have to get used to the format. Basically you can only download one file from one site at a time. The work around that is just use different sites to download things simultaneously. Also, they are all usually fast as hell but, some are faster than others. Finally, there is usually a time limit between downloading files so, after downloading a 700mb movie you might have to wait 15 mins. Plus links are posted faster than torrent sites sometimes 5 mins after a show has aired. If you want links just PM me.
So onto the software. Jdownloader lets you simply copy a link and it will load in into a window that manages your other downloads. It's really easy to use and a BIG plus that i just found out about is, it downloads mp3s or videos directly from youtube and even converts them just by copying the link and d/ling.
