Anyways, this has been a real hang up for me my entire life, i've never been able to get drunk or even drink socially and i constantly feel like i've missed out on one of those things everyone gets to experience. Apparently asians like me and our dumb sideways livers lack an enzyme. I think it's why i compensate by looking for other ways to get a buzz. Am i missing something out on something big here?

I can take nyquil but it hits mehard and my stomach gets upset. I usually end up buying a beer and holding it all night or something like that cause i'm get tired explaining all the time.

I know I might sound like an ol fuddy duddy but fuck em. If they don't understand that you get physically sick when you drink then they are not really friends. Take it from one who knows, I broke my liver. It was interesting to find out who understood. When I would get a "what happened to you?'' or "you're no fun anymore." Then they went on the douchebag pile. I do use the soda and lime camoflauge at events though.

I think my old friends would prolly be happy I am choosing not to drink/drugs anymore because I became a maniac when I did. I am just worried how I am going to deal with night time social situations again. When everyones drinking and your nervous about the whole thing it is just a bad combo for me. Theres no off switch when I start drinking.

For now I am just going to avoid nightime drinking situations untill I have some more time under my belt (going on 4 weeks). I am just worried about those situations and how I am going to play them. I will definetely need to learn a camoflauge trick I am comfortable with.
