I think its way more than being able to "get" their weed here, its the whole acceptance of the public use. You don't have to sneak around to enjoy the effects of your drug of choice.

I read that, too. Actually, it's always been illegal for everyone, but they tolerate in the cafes. The new conservative government says it was always intended to be just for locals, and they are considering enforcing it now.
