New movie by Duncan Jones, who directed the excellent Moon last year.
Here's the film's official synopsis:
"When decorated soldier Captain Colter Stevens wakes up in the body of an unknown man, he discovers he's part of a mission to find the bomber of a Chicago commuter train. In an assignment unlike any he's ever known, he learns he's part of a government experiment called the 'Source Code,' a program that enables him to cross over into another man's identity in the last eight minutes of his life.
"With a second, much larger target threatening to kill millions in downtown Chicago, Colter re-lives the incident over and over again, gathering clues each time, until he can solve the mystery of who is behind the bombs and prevent the next attack."

Moon was awesome. This guy knows how to do good sci-fi. I am interested.

Moon was great, but this seems a little too Quantum Leap-y! Hope it's good!

A mix of Quantum Leap and Assassin's Creed.
But if you think about it, Moon was pretty much Multiplicity in space, except nothing like it.

This movie is currently earning a 91% on Rotten Tomatoes, and that's from the critics.
This is kinda suprising... I'm guessing Duncan Moon has a new twist on the time travel theme. I can only guess that it's doing something new and original, or there is a great story to go with the effects, probably a bit of both. Now I'm getting psyched to see it.

It even got a thumbs up from Ron Bennington of Sirius XM Satellite Radio. And he's the Armond White of popcorn flicks.

As a professional programmer the usage of the word Source Code drives me insane in the trailer. Nobody would name their goddamned program that, regardless of what it does.

Nice to know Jones (or the writer) knows the roots of the movie

I liked it too, its not as pop corny as youd think. They dont jerk you around about whats really going on. I thought it was slightly too long at the end. One plot concern:
So the captain can exist in the new reality, which is great for him, and everyone gets saved, the one dude who gets fucked is the original guy whose body he's in. He gets wiped out of existence. Not to mention Jake G now needs to figure out how to be a history teacher, and guess where he parked his car, and where his apartment is
also
Is there one world for each time he changed something from the original history? Every time he did something slightly different it made a new reality even though he dies in all but one of them. That makes things kindof pointless, since in so many realities the bombing succeeds, we're only choosing to pay attention to the one where it works out. Ironically he's killing way more people across the realities to save the people in one reality than if they had just let the originally bombing go through

In some half-assed way, this movie follows the quantum theory of multiple universes.So , yes he does save the girl and get to live at the end , as well as ;
1. Blow up numerous times
2. Save the city & die, getting his plug pulled
3. Save the city, and not even do that mission ( the message to Captain Goodwin) which leaves this all open to sequels. I hope it doesn't though; this is a good little one-off movie that would be ruined by doing sequels( but ,if it does well ,look for SOURCE CODE 2 going directly to video)
