Not this time Judge...an 8 year old is attacked? And the family declines to press charges? I hope Joe DOES get his hands on that guy.

Holy crap if my niece was attacked by a drunken cowboys fan at 8 they would HAVE to call the cops because me and my brother in law will KILL that bastard.

The jets were classy to offer to fly them to another game. Have to give them that,

I keep reading about this story as if there was some sort of savage beating. The parents didn't press charges and the boy sufferred minor injuries. If a grown man really attacked an 8 year old wouldn't the kid be seriously hurt? Was the guy just fucking around, and maybe did something inappropriate or was he being really aggressive?

The kid was only scraped and bruised up a bit, but that is totally beside the point. Not sure if you're a parent or not, but any stranger coming into contact with your kid is taboo.

The drunk went too far, if he was fucking around or not. The mother did say that they were getting shit throughout the game because of the Jets jersey, with curses and things being thrown at them. Par for the course at an NFL game, I know, but that's where it should have ended. Was it the same group? That I don't know.

Because the father chose to get the fuck out of there fast and not call the cops make me think that this was the same group, a bunch of douchebags that were causing trouble and he decided to cut his losses. He must have figured that he was at a serious disadvantage, with his kid and wife against a group of drunks. Not the same choice I would have made, but I can't kill him for it.

I love violence and would enjoy helping smash anyone who was involved with this.

On another note - I once was drunk and fell 2 rows down at a VATech football game onto a little girl. I had a full cup of Burbon that went right into her eyes. She screamed that her eyes were burning - I felt terrible.

Luckily, I am a big dude so her father and others around me didnt want to smash my face in for the accident - but the looks they gave me said otherwise. And even though I was guilty and felt really bad, I would have fought the whole family if they pressed me.

Point is - if it was an accident I say you get a free pass but if any harm came to anyone on purpose, you better be ready to get your ass handed to ya. I'd be glad to help with that

I was thinking the samee thing. Sounds like the guy was drunk, decided to fuck around, and pretended he was gonna beat up the kid, and probably overdid it and knocked the kid on the ground. How bad could it be if the dad wasnt mad enough to attack the guy or press charges???

And say he just wanted to get out of there, wouldnt he at least have taken advantage of the Jets offer?

Relax Frances. Like is too short. Maybe take a month off from the D-Bol.

While I agree that the drunk went too far and there's really no reason to ever touch another persons child, the word "attack" seems like a bit of a stretch.

I refuse to go to NFL games. I think it's beyond idiotic that people fight and fans from the opposing team have to deal with nonsense like this. My wife loves the Colts and I've told her I wouldn't take her to a Jets/Colts game in NJ for this reason. If some motherfucker said something disparaging or touched my wife I'd fucking kill them (or more likely, get the shit kicked out of me trying).

Agreed. Totally agree. And your point about the dad wanting to get the fuck out of there was on also. I think the point isn't if it was an 'attack' or him just fucking around. Joe got it right...you do NOT lay your hands on someone else's kid in any manner like that. If he knew the family and it was horseplay that went wrong MAYBE. (and that's a huge maybe)
but a total strangers kid? I am shocked that nobody pulled this guy off of the kid and held him down while someone else got police.

what if this browns fan only saw the kid from behind. how do we know he didnt think it was a midget. how do we know there wasnt some mouthy midget giving this cleveland hero lip all game. when this savior browns fan realized it wasnt the surly short person he had tackled he apologized. the father understood the confusion because he hates midgets as well.

I have been thinking this was an accident. for some reason "tackling the kid" doesnt seem like that is what happened maybe bumped the kid while walking past him or playing catch and running over the kid? we obviously dont know what truly happened. But I cant see some drunk man tackling a 8 year old kid and the father not getting in a fight with him. I also cant see how others wouldnt help out. no matter what jersey the kid was wearing you got to believe other browns fans would have defended, stood up for or even fought the other guy for doing this?

something tells me this kid was hit or run over by accident and he cried and dad made this out to be an attack rather then an accident. if thats not the case, then the dad is a pussy!

Here's what I surmise what actually happened:
Assholes drinking were giving the guy and his kid shit because of the Jets jersey all game long. Maybe some were doing it tongue-in-cheek, but we have all seen cock eaters pull shit at games.

So now the guy and kid leave and while walking back to the car, this drunk and his boys were continuing the razzing (if they did it inside the stadium or not doesn't really make a difference). The guy with the biggest beer balls walked up close to them and was talking more shit and probably really stumbled, but it wouldn't have happened at all if he was just minding his own business instead of being a slap-dick.

Does that exonerate him? Not one bit IMO and I stand by what I said in the video. We'll make it bit on the Ron & Fez Show and all piss on his carcass when it's through.

I know what I would have done if I were the dad, but there's a lot to consider here. He may be a small guy and the drunk may have been a big dick. Your first responsibility is with your kid, so he most likely wanted to get that squared away. If the kid was on the ground crying and he was alone with him, then he had to take care of business with the boy first.

By that time, the drunken fuckface's friends probably pulled him off the floor, were all laughing and began to walk off. What was dad going to do? Leave his kid on the floor crying and chase after these clowns? Knowing what kind of guy I am, I probably would have done just that but I can't kill someone else for not going after the drunk.

I've had situations arise in public when I was with the family, protecting them and taking care of business. And you know what? Motherfuckers who had no idea why I was fucking someone up in the street had the balls to yell at me and call me white trash, taking the savage's side. You're fucked either way sometimes.

That's VERY possible, but after seeing the report on the Phillies fan who intentionally puked all over a dad and his 11 year old daughter, sadly the 'tackle the kid' option wouldn't surprise me.

did he puke on purpose or get drunk and throw up and not move as it went on her? I never read that he did it on purpose or that he put his finger down his throat to force it?!

According to the report, it was intentional.
Clemmens, 21, positioned himself behind the 11-year-old's chair, stuck his fingers down his throat and vomited on the girl and her father, police said. (http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/local-beat/Off-Duty-Officer-Daughters-Assaulted-at-Phillies-Game-90983739.html)

He did it on purpose. Multiple witnesses had him putting his finger down his throat, including the father. That's when he tucked his daughter under his arm and turned her away at the last second so he took the brunt of it (saw the interview of him on the news....guy was a police officer in a philly suburb)

Best part of the story was that as soon as he did that, a multitude of fans ran and grabbed this guy as others try to get security and police to arrest him. When the asshole struggled with the people holding him they punched him in the face to make him stop.

His mug shot has him with a black eye. Couldn't have deserved it more.

The father said that he realized if he got into it with the asshole and was taken out his daughter would have been all alone there and he didn't want that happening.

I dont know, maybe it's just new school mentality. I know if this was me and my father 20 years ago he would have beat the shit out of that guy and then given me shit for letting him knock me down. Of course not now he is falling apart, but I think I would do the same if it were my kid.

Example: back in the late 70s my dad got my uncles these really nice new huffy bikes for their birthdays (they are twins), I think they were like 9. Well that same day they took the bikes out for a ride. Now nobody had bike like these around, they are big full adult bikes, and they are just able to ride them. These two black guys beat up my uncles and stole the bikes. My uncles go find my father and tell him what happened. My dad tracks down these guys in the neighborhood, beats the shit out of them and gets the bikes back (and he is not a big guy, 5'5"), and then goes home and puts the whoopin on my uncles for losing the bikes.

Maybe it's just my dad.

Dont take this the wrong way, but you sound like a fucking rube. Anyone that buys that story as its written is a complete moron.

Look at the kids face. Now look at the profession of the guy that was "assaulted". An off duty cop. The whole story is so fucking ricockulous it shouldve been written by Walt Disney. I know plenty of Philly cops and theres no fucking way one of them would sit there while a guy spit and threw water on him and his daughter. As this story claims.

Then this fat fuck puts his fingers down his throat and throws up on the girl AND starts punching her dad too, while still throwing up? Yea that sounds realistic.

If I had to guess, Id bet this fat bastard was drunk and obnoxious with his friends, annoying everyone. Then he got sick and started throwing up, which im sure splattered on some of the people in their seats, including the cops daughter. So the cop gets pissed and beats the shit out of the kid. When security and police get there, he says the kid did it on purpose, and they make sure every incident report backs his story. Philly cops back up their own.

This shit is not uncommon. I bounced at clubs on Delaware Ave. for years. We had retired cops as backup security there. And when we got into a fight and beat the fuck out of someone, that person got arrested. Then the retired cop would write up an incident report, bring it over to us, and have each of us copy it word for word and sign the bottom, no matter how far from the truth it may have been. Wake the fuck up, for real.

I would bet anything your story is a lot closer to the truth. cops in general at games, clubs etc do as they please and would never just stand by when they know they can get away with shit like this. i have seen it way too often in my life of what cops get away with. its actually sickening.

Dont get me wrong, Im not saying the dad was 100% wrong, but I seriously believe he got tired of dealing with a drunk asshole, and the kid throwing up near his daughter gave him the reason he needed to beat the guy senseless. And if he tried giving the real account of what happened he wouldve gotten in a shitload of trouble and maybe lost his badge.
