Any boxing threads started? I jabe been a long term face but can't really keep up with a message board with all boxers. I could like to update and talk about Major upcoming fights between people that scrap.

Example- Pacman/he is entertaining against anyone.

I see a fight coming up that looks real intesting. The lanky freak of a man wailliams against a tough ass mexican.

Rules- Can we leave opinions of fighters kind of out of it personal attack wise. I love action placked fights and pay for a bout 2 a year. Mark one doesn for that pacman fight. Too bad he didn't have someone to actually make it interesting.

tonights fight was a paquiao clinic. I was rooting for paq but thought it would be tough for him because margarito was so much taller and heavier. well it didnt matter after the 1st round paq just attacked. I thought all along that Mayweather would beat paquiao if they fought, now Im convinced he might not!

Glad someone started this thread. I have been a boxing fan since childhood. I remember watching saturday afternoon fights on tv with my brother and father. Thos were great no name fights!

sorry, you can hate mayweather all you want but the guy is the definition of a fantastic boxer. he isnt the power puncher people want to see but he puts on a boxing clinic when he boxes. he is so fst and hits his targets and scores like no other fighter has ever. hes not 40-0 because he sucks and beat no ones. I still think he might be able to beat paq but i feel a little less secure about that now. they match up so well and paq has never seen someone as fast as may.

The game plan was to pressure, move forward and land punishing shots when Pacquiao was on the ropes. He executed that maybe 3-4 times the entire fight. Pacquiao was simply too quick, Margarito was moving forward, but before he even makes that step, Manny was already sidestepping to the left. And those punches were just too fast, precise and unpredictable.

As for pacman I really don't see a fight worth buying in the near future. I mean come on he can't even muster up enough bullshit to TRY and convince us of anyone other than Floyd right now. Even 2 years ago in 2009 right after shane beat margarito it would of still been pretty exciting match up. After a loss to mayweather and his latest draw with mora this is pretty disappointing. I'll let it be known I am not thrilled with this match up, but at least pacman is working out and getting a tune up fight in. I think if he doesn't stay active he is going to get sidetracked with all the other shit hes got going on and the best thing in boxing right now will be gone.

I had good odds and bought the cotto hype when pac and cotto fought, never again am I betting against Pacquiao.

To be honest you just need to know who and when to watch boxing now a days. I wouldn't be caught dead watching a heavyweight match. But there are some exciting fights to be seen in the lighter divisions.

I dont think he even got the round. They might have (wrongly) called it a knock down but 120s tells me they didnt give him the knock down. I have never seen a beating like this in a fight that went the distance with really no power and really no knock downs. Very odd, shitty fight!

I don't have much faith in any promoter, Arum included and popular consensus is that Manny doesn't intend to re up with Top Rank after his deal is over. The easiest way to guarantee one more go from his cash cow is to ensure the rematch.

After watching the last 2 machines fight I didn't think Danny Garcia had a chance in hell. That was a great fight in itself.

First of all, last nights fight was pretty damn good. If you like boxing, last night was an amazing fight to watch.

2nd, who ducked who? Mayweather had the deal, Paquiao wouldnt agree to the tests. Once he finally agreed to it, Paq came back with a demand for more money.
