I was running thru my Ipod the other night while driving thru Mississippi and trying not to fall asleep, I decided to go old school and played The Cars first album "The Cars". I really believe that the B-side of that album is one of the best ever. The songs flow so smoothly and create a vibe that ebbs and flows nicely, and yet most of the radio hits are on the other side.

Moving In Stereo
All Mixed Up

My favorite part of one of the best first albums ever.

I'd go with Side One of the Walker Brothers' LP "Nite Flights". The first four songs are all written by the legendary Scott Walker, and they were a massive influence on David Bowie and Brian Eno as they worked on Bowie's Berlin Trilogy.

After those four songs, the other two Walker Brothers take over, and the songs are far less interesting. Here's the best song of the four:
