I went to a bar tonight and had a delectable Chocolate beer (which was brewed just down the road from the bar). Sadly when I inquired about a pumpkin spice beer (my favorite being Smuttynose) they didn't have it.
So I'm looking for some good pumpkin tinged beers. This could possibly be why the fall is my favorite season. So any good beers you lads and ladies know?
And btw, smile.

That looks amazingly good. I'm north/central New Jersey, but I'll go for a ride for a good beer.

Pick up a 6 of Post Road Pumpkin Ale by Brooklyn Brewery. IMO is the perfect Pumpkin Ale.
Honorable mention: Shipyard, Buffalo Bill's, and Saranac.

One thing about pumpkin ales is that they are not created equally. Some are fantastic, some are mediocre.
Here is a link for beer advocate's top-rated pumpkin ales (Pumpking appears to be at the top):

one of my favs is listed at #30 on that list. i can honestly say that i have had well over half of the beers listed on there. the southern tier one is really f'n good!
keithy_19 where in northern NJ are you? i can tell you exactly where to find that beer and many others like it. there's a store in boonton.....basically if you're heading down 287 south you get off on the 1st exit for boonton. go to the light at the end of the exit and go left. you'll be riding parallel to 287 south. there's a store call boonton discount liquors(something like that) a minute before you reach the exit for 287 south. it's literally right behind the sound barrier wall for 287. the beer selection they have there will make your jaw drop. there's also a place in madison called main street liquors. definitely check out either of the 2 places. you'll thank me later.

I agree, but the snobs over at Beer Advocate (What is that? A website for gay beer?) gave it a B+.
Fuck them.

In Jersey we've got River Horse, Flying Fish and NJ Beer Co. just to name a few, so we're not doing too bad for ourselves either.
