1:40 for me. All I'm thinking is, "Why no safety rope?"

My notchya is all a quiver. Why no parachute? It's just a base jump.

He is wearing a harness , you don't see it until a little bit further in but he stops a few times hooks in and takes a break.

Yeah, but only during breaks. Otherwise, when he's actually moving, he's not wearing anything.

I love that they're wearing helmets. Yeah, fall off a 1,700 foot high tower, I'm sure that helmet's gonna help.

I'd imagine the high winds would cause a great danger in banging your head against shit.

That is nothing short of insane. I love how he gets to the top and has a calm one handed light grip as he wipes something off his shoe!

I wouldn't trust that structure to hold my weight most of the weigh, especially at the top with his buddy right behind him on the small pipe. These guys are f'n nuts.

Am I the only person who isn't scared of heights in my every day life, but has nightmares where heights terrify me?

FUCK THAT!
I'm still shaking just from watching that shit.
I can't believe the way that guy just nonchalantly hooks up his safety thing when he gets to the top.
I actually tried to tell him several times to get a tighter grip. I don't think he heard me.
Cant' they just use a helicopter or something to get up there?

Holy SHit! My palms are sweating now!
Those dudes deserve to be paid huge amounts of money. I kinda wished they would have shown the decent - maybe speeded up

They said during the climbing he could hook in after every step but it would take forever if he climbed one rung then hooked in.

Okay, now how do you climb down?

Imagine getting to the top and realizing you forgot a tool in the car.

I dont understand how this passes any kind of inspection or safety regulation? Watching him climb up that and have to maneuver over one ledge to get to the tower while carrying a 30lb bag of tools. Thats awful, how man deaths a year occur doing this type of job? They need to find a better way to build it and get to the top.

Video is still up on yahoo (http://video.yahoo.com/network/101149635?v=8244494&l=5144241)

I climbed cell towers for a while in my early 20's.

Nothing even close to this high, but high enough.

We were hired to test the lines. Boss told me that the local rednecks sometimes liked to try to sight their high powered rifles by trying to take out the tower lights, and would sometimes miss and hit the cables causing signal loss. (There were other reasons why this could happen, but the others are boring)

In order to test the cables, we'd have to drop the calls on a bank of connections for a few minutes, so rather than interupting daytime service, we'd go out a few hours before dawn while it was still dark. (If your call suddenly drops at 5 a.m., this could be why)

At first the dark freaked me out being up there... until I had to go up in the daylight. At least at night you lost some perspective of how high off the ground you were. It was easier just to focus on the tower in front of you. The towers were always out in remote areas, so the only lights were from the shack directly below. In the daylight, you could see everything, and it was impossible not to take a look at the horizon, or worse, straight down at the ground.

And I didn't have to carry a ton of tools with me. Just a shorting plug and a dummy load, and a pair of pliers in case the connector was on too tight.

I was always ok while I was on the main structure. But to get to the ends of the cables, I had to squirrel out onto each of the three "arms" at the top, where there was nothing underneath but earth. Thats when I wouldn't move while I was un-tethered. But going up and down was always free climbing.

It paid well, but the hours sucked, and it would take hours to relax and go to sleep afterwards.

It sounded like a good paying job I could do in the wee hours and still go to school, but I didn't last but three months, and recommended a buddy to the boss to take my place.

He quit the second night out.

How much we talking? If it it isn't at least $150k, you're insane.

I imagine the tower sways in the wind a bit, and whever I am on anything that's a little unstable, I freeze up. No way could I do this! Even if that upper pole was 2 feet off the ground I couldn't do it! When this guy transitioned to the pole from the tower, I felt my whole body tighten up.

Im not afraid of heights but felt vertigo strongly while watching this video. I wonder why they couldnt have made the tower more climber friendly all the way to the top?

One good thing, you fall off that tower and you wont have to worry about being paralyzed for the rest of your life. Fall from a lower height and you do.

I don't have a fear of heights because I'm afraid of falling. I have a fear of heights because I get the impulse to jump off for no apparent reason. It happened to me when I was in a hotel about 7 stories up in SC. Freaked me out.

That's the evolutionary memory of our ancestors who eventually had to jump down from trees, or jump over rivers.... jump to get places.

At least, that's what I heard Ron say. Might be a good theory to look up.

This is just bad English.

Phentermine is yet another important medication drugs in the medicinal field. It is generally used for curing obesity problems or something related to that. It is one of those drug which can only be found naturally and as such there is no genre of it. A special feature of Phentermine is that it is prescribed to only those individual who are at a crucial stage due to their over weight. Its effect is not long lasting. The mechanism of Phentermine is that it releases certain chemicals in the body which control fat in ones body. Hence if you are having any such problems contact your doctor today only and if he prescribes you to buy it out then do the same without any hesitation.
