They've been showing these movies on AMC all week and I stil love them.

Callahan may be my favorite movie cop.

Watching " The Dead Pool " now which I think I've only seen a few times where I've seen the others dozens of times.

I'd say the weakest of the lot, not counting this one since I don't remember much about it, is " Sudden Impact ". The story was kinda lame.

I was watching Sudden Impact last night when I commented in "Random Questions" about how I can't understand what he saw in Sondra Locke. Those sunken eyes were awful. I looked her up last night. Even though she was with Clint for 18 years, she's been married to an openly gay sculptor since 1967.

The quality of these movies did decline a bit over time, but they didn't devolve into complete self-parody like the Death Wish movies did.

I knew she and Eastwood never got married but I never knew that last part.

As Harry would say, " Swell !! ".

I always wonder if Tightrope was supposed to be a Dirty Harry movie and just didn't fit the bill.

As crazy as it sounds I'd like to see a Dirty Harry reboot, if and only if, they picked a good actor and kept him so un-PC.

and kept him so un-PC.
It would never happen.

I hate ketchup on hot dogs, too.

I loved all the appearances by the black guy that played Big Ed Mustafa in " The Enforcer ".

I think it was only " The Dead Pool " that he wasn't in.

Love'em all, yeah the last couple were lacking, but I can forgive

Even the not so good ones are worth watching every couple of years, or when you're in a Dirty Harry mood.

I always thought he was good for one more, with the most obvious partner of all, of course. He had (and mostly buried) a latino, a black, a woman , & an asian. I always thought he's go out with a gay partner ( and just think of Harry's comments on HIM).It was SAN FRANCISCO , after all.

They actually only even brought the gay angle in one time that I remember.

In " Magnum Force " his male neighbor flirts w/ him.

She was like a blonde Shelley Duvall.

The Enforcer is on now. Featuring Tyne Daly, when she was young and unattractive.

That " Well, that's mighty white of you. " is one of the greatest ever.
