I have a Mr. Coffee that uses coffee filters. Every time I make coffee I get grounds in the pot because the water tap pushes the filter over. I 've tried wetting the filter bet sometimes it makes it worse. Any advice on clips or some other device?

I usually put a coffee filter in a strainer and strain all the grounds out. I don't have time for this.

I rememeber quite fondly when I had a Cuisinart with it's own filter (no paper). It was the first coffee maker I bought. NIRVANA!!

Any one have idea?

i would get a Cuisinart but we have no money and we're waiting for the Mr. Coffee to die.

My husband doesm't mind the grounds but I do!!

Get one of those metal permanent filters!

This was my fix. Alternatively, take a paperclip and bend out one end far enough to hold down the side near the tap.
