I have the Hardened(lol) edition pre-orderd.

There is about 7 new Mutliplayer trailers released today.

All of them were on "Machinima Respawns" channel on youttube this morning.

It will be hard to find time to play any campaign with these features in multiplayer now as well.

Ill have to post links to the videos later because I cannot see the youtubes at work.

i hear ya....sometimes, they have dudes that work there that just push way too much. you show up and buy $100 worth of new games and the kid goes, "anything you're looking forward to?"....no......."well, you know that Madden 2010 comes out next week"....yea, i don't play madden....."oh well, fuckin, super awesome action adventure game is comming out in 4 months and you should pre-order cause blah blah blah..".....yea, not now.

there is one asian dude that works at the gamestop i go to and he's annoying as fuck.....just interrupts you every chance he gets....i like talking about games and upcoming shit and when i'm in there, i'll turn into a bit of a fanboy sometimes......i'll talk to the manager about stuff cause he's cool as shit and goes to E3 every year....but that asian kid, man.....i can't get a single thought out....he's a fuckin tool.

Usually at smaller store they only get enough for pre-orders.

so they have to wait a period before they can sell the games.

My local places here each have 250 or so. Do you think that the company will send them more than that when these stores are super small.

If you didnt pre purchase a ticket to a movie and you got there and the theater was sold out, would you bitch about how thats nuts that you cant just buy a seat?

around here ther is 2 gamestops with a a very short distance, also a kmart, walmart, and target.

the only way to buy the game here.

im not a fan of the killstreaks not being stackable. for instance u have a 3 a 7 and an 11 killstreak unlocked, you have to kill 11 people on your own (to get treyarchs shitty attackdogs) the people u kill with your 3 and 7 dont count toward your 11 total.

the online looks good though, im sure the campaign will be average in the treyarch tradition.

yea, i always hated that too, although i think the reason it doesn't count towards the next killstreak is that whoever made it to their middle and top killstreak, would just have rolling killstreaks for the entire match. so lets say you have care package, pave low, and chopper gunner......4 kills and you got a care package where you get an attack chopper....that chopper gets 5 kills and you haven't died, thats 9 kills so you put out your pave low, which gets 2 kills, so you get the chopper gunner where you get 7 kills out of that, so you've got a pave low again and a care package.....etc. etc. etc.
it promotes camping and crowds the airspace for other players.

3 kills = remote control car

7 kills = napalm

11 kills = chopper gunner

i kill someone 3 times, and use my car in say, dominiation, 4 of their guys are camping around flag b i kill all 4 of them. that doesn't unlock my napalm. i still have to kill 4 people on my own to access the 7th reward, and so on to the 11th. your killstreak rewards dont count toward your killstreak is what im trying to say.
(at least thats the way i read it)

whereas in MW2 harrier strike, chopper gunner all add up to my tactical nuke.

but they don't add up to each other tho......25 kills, no matter how you get them gets you a nuke, but killing ppl with a killstreak before getting to that 25 in a row doesn't help you climb that ladder to unlock your other killstreaks.

Zombie Mode is fucking tough.

Killing people isnt easy like in MW2 which is good in both aspect of getting killed and getting kills.

Although sometimes I think the game is fucked up though.

I got a kill cam yesterday that I Burst a guy 3 Times (9 bullets) with my m16 before he died. I know I hit him because I did it all while he was climbing a ledge at and I was close to him.

Sometimes I die by a single 3 round burst...?

Dead Ops arcade is great fun as well, even mutliplayer.

Zork fucking is stupid funny and we didnt get very far.

When Wrath of the Lich King came out I pre-ordered it, FUCKING PAID FOR IT IN FULL, and then stood on line at midnight to pick it up.

Well the credit card machine took a shit and they made EVERYONE, even pre-paid people, wait on the same fucking line to pick shit up. I was so fucking pissed the couldn't just make 2 lines, one for people who needed to pay and one for people who already paid and were just in need of the human filth who run the stores to hand me a copy of what I had already paid for.

That was the 1st and last time I will ever do a midnight release. And fuck Gamestop in their sweaty assholes, I get all my games online now. I have Cataclysm pre-ordered from Amazon.

Moe, i wanted to tell you that i went to my local Gamestop and talked to the manager there who is pretty cool. we talk games all the time when i'm in there and i was there on Monday and he asked if i was coming back for the midnight release......he said last year he handled 400 customers in 10 min. he has games set up and stuff to do while ppl are waiting and apparently he's been doing this so long that he knows how to handle a midnight release.....he said he was pretty confident he could beat last years record and take care of more than 400 ppl in less than 10 min. so if you had an annoying time at your midnight release and had to wait until forever.....its probably because the manager of that individual store didn't know how to handle one properly.

There was about two hundred and fifty in line at the Gamestop I went to Monday night and by 12:30 after barely moving at all for 15 minutes they went through everybody. They opened the back door and were handed out everyone's orders from a fold-up table.

Side note... I live amongst one of the heaviest populations of white trash and scumbags per capita than I'd like to admit.

I was up anyway. But most people I guess go for the event. As lame an event as it is. It's like these guys wIho do it for Madden every dumb year. They give away prizes and shit... Have the game set up already so you can play. The only other game I've gotten at a midnight release was GTA4.

I haven't even played the god damn thing yet. I've been screwing around with my new tv for three days.

seriously, i have no idea. i get that there is a lot of anticipation for the games release, but i don't mind waiting another 2 weeks until i get paid and can actually afford it. i don't think the idea of the midnight release was popular until leaderboards came out......it doesn't happen too often that a store will run out of a game......a console, i can understand it...they run out quick and demand is higher. but for a game it doesn't make sense

Then after online for so long(getting mad) i got onto campaign again.

i'm still a big fan of the campaign.....and i'm guessing Black Ops will be much like MW2 in that the campaign will only be about 4-5 hours of actual gameplay......i think it took me 2 sittings to beat MW2.....I figure i'll get to the multiplayer eventually.

I tried that.

I was playing campaign and was like I GOTTO GO ONLINE!!!!!!!!!

Then after online for so long(getting mad) i got onto campaign again.

But i really want to screw with the red dot sights.

and get the spas
After playing most of the day... Here are my thoughts.

The best thing about the multiplayer, other than the cool little map showing everyone on the planet playing, is the customization. It's beyond ridiculous and awesome.

But... The servers seem kinda' shitty. It's slower paced and not as smooth and crisp as previous games. Maybe it's just am overload of nearly a million peeps on the servers, but I'm kinda' weary of it already.

And since I'm not a big fan of the multiplayer portion I think I'm gonna hold off on picking the game up. Multiplayer means exactly dick to me because I know I'm NEVER going to invest the time needed to become a GOD OF THE SERVERS like a lot of the people. I'm not gonna learn every map, I'm not gonna find the best spots to camp, I'm just not gonna bother.

With Modern Warfare 2 I beat it and just go back occasionally to play my favorite missions again. I will eventually get Black Ops but I'm just not hearing anything that's so radically different from MW2 that I have to drop $60 on it right now.

thats the best part. but most people who dont do good at it dont play it. They did at a thing called combat training so you could get good. But trying to think that there is "god of the servers" is so very WOW'ish. Im sure your crazy into someother game though like people are with this...(WOW).

I did make a game last night of the Combat training, becuase you get a trophy at level 10.

I put it on Nuketown, enemy AI on recruit, 9 of them. I mowed them down, but i couldnt reload fast enough or have enough ammo. I went 75-8 lol. The Attack helicopter did DICK for me as well. But i got the chopper gunner in a care package and i pwned. I like the combat training because of super fast leverl up, and i can try the weapons with out wasting my real CD on them.

This is exactly why I like multiplayer. I go in. I don't get a single shot off. I never see the enemy. I just walk around until an invisible superfast 5th grader kills me. I'm like Kelsey Grammar forever falling of the stage- "oh good lord".

Anyway, that's what I like about multiplayer. Being really bad at it.

Well if I was going to play the multiplayer stuff I'd want to at least be somewhat good. I've played it before and most times you have to have put in a few hours to at least be decent on most maps. If I'm gonna play it I want to get some kills off, and since I'm not willing to put in the time to get good I just steer clear.

Combat training nigs.

you can set it to how ever many AI's you want on any map you want.

you can do 1v1 or 1v9.

You can change their difficulty to stupid, to get used to the game mechanics

There is an attack helicopter, chopper gunner, and gunship in MP. the attack heli is referred to as cobra. the chopper gunner i think is a huey. gunship i dunno.

I finally turned the corner I think in multiplayer. I went like 27-3 on a headquarters on crisis or whatever and was off. Had to get used to the pacing I guess, it's slightly of from the previous games. Digging the crossbow.

I prefer the hardcore games actually. Headquarters is good for racking up lots of kills. The games are longer than deathmatch. I wish they would have kept hardcore headquarters as part of the playlist.

Plus I hate the randomness of the spawns in deathmatch. headquarters everyone on the enemy team pretty much all spawn from the same area at a given time. If not actually it at least seems like it to me.

I was worried that Activision giving Infinity Ward the boot would be the beginning of the end for this series, and unfortunately that seems to be the case!!!! The multiplayer just seems to have amped up all of the worst aspects of the previous versions! Personally, I find Bad Company to 2 to be so much better when it comes to multiplayer! Can't wait for the Vietnam pack!

The guns dont kill as fast, they cut marathon to just run longer, there is no stopping power, there is no One Man Army, no Commando, You cant bling a weapon with a noob tube(even though the toob has a lot less damage), the pro perks are harder to get, no quickscoping, no secondary shotguns, less launchers, amongst other things.

So whatcha talkin about.

Personally, I find Bad Company to 2 to be so much better when it comes to multiplayer!

Most of the time if someone who dominates at CoD comes over to BC2 and tries the same shit they get rocked time and time and time again until they start playing smarter!!! BC2 is the great equalizer when it comes to multiplayer for these types of games and I find it much more fun to play!!!

How are they following CoD with this? Because CoD has a piddling Vietnam level?!?! Hmmmm, it's not like Battlefield didn't already have a Vietnam game years ago...

yes, she saw the the commercial for it last friday and mentioned that she liked the jeep. so earlier in the week she passed by a jeep dealership and saw one in the lot. she quickly TXTed me and asked me to go check it out. i test drove it and told her that she should go check it out. she did and now it's in the driveway....that's my lexus gx470 and her cadillac cts behind it.....also my reflection....you can barely tell that i'm wearing my SLAYER baseball jersey.

Finally got my copy yesterday......i played a little of the black ops arcade and got to stage 9 which was fun......got to mess around with the online multiplayer for a bit and leveled up to 7 i think.....last thing i remember doing was unlocking and adding my clan tag.

Spoilers be here.

then i got into the campaign......i'm really impressed. i made it through to the end of the Khe Sanh mission last night.....this shit is incredible....the voice acting is excellent and its just non stop action....the prison break was one of the coolest missions i've played in a game all year. I love the way the interrogation of Mason drives the story from year to year. meeting the president was cool as shit, but i would like to have more control during those cut scenes. i prefer to walk around myself thanks. What i love though is that every section feels like its an end of the game type set piece......everything is huge and over the top....so far its fantastic and i hope the pace remains steady. really enjoying this game.

what sensitivity are you running?
I'm on insane. And it does help quite a bit. Took a couple games to get used to it but it's noticeable. I got a bunch of kills I normally would have never gotten with the better aim. It slows down your aim without having to lower your sensitivity with would make your reflexes slower. It's a finer touch aim and really stops your from jerking your aim.

I fucking suck with napalm that is awesome. I went back to it today though because the care package is always wack or I die trying to get it. Got my highest kill streak of 8 or 9 the other day and getting streaks consistently now so I am actually trying to figure out what higher ones I want.

Ima add you in second I want to get a little better though. I am definitely improving. Always above a 1 ratio now, I get a lot of kills now I just don't don't really care much about dieing atm.

I used to do Headquarters but it seems a lot of much higher prestige people play that.

It does seem though that playing ground war games is a lot better, but its a lot faster.

I liked HQ until it got over run by crazy players.

Demolition wasnt bad and I assume it isnt as bad as headquarters.

Although the only time I played Demolition was to get Flack Jacket Pro and Ninja Pro on my last prestige.

Im not bothering this time for those.

I need a few "Hurt someone, reload and kill them" for SoH pro, I need to shoot down a few more aircraft for ghost pro, and I need to knife two people within 5 seconds to finish Steady Aim.

Yes, but the first strike map pack is still currently exclusive to 360 users. i think its shite that the hold it up for ps3 users every time. either make it exclusive or don't.

new maps are alright. Wish you could do more types of games with them though. there are just 3 types atm and usually you get pitted against stacked parties.

Berlin wall- Probably my favorite.

The tokyo building one is my least favorite.

Yeah Berlin Wall really rocks. There's so many sniper points. You can tell with a couple of these maps they really tried to make them sniper friendly. Only a couple of the regular maps are sniper friendly.
