Personaaly, I think they will, since Stone Cold will be taking on the NWO.
Now if Jericho beat Triple H because of a Stephanie swerve at Wrestlemania, It would be interesting.

Steph and Y2J would be a great angle. Y2J vs Steph for the affections of Stephanie. I said this a few months ago and it seems like it maybe coming true. I would love to see this as the main event. Y2J deserves the spotlight!

Jericho can main event a Wrestlemania. It's his time. He can run with the ball, it's just a question as to whether the WWF will give it to him.

I said it before: I think they'll go a double main event this year. One will be HHH vs. Jericho for the title, the other will be the NWO vs. a WWF faction (probably Austin, Rock, & Flair).

As for Steph and Jericho being together, I love the idea.

You can't read a lot into the posters. The performers most times are just for promotion. Depending on who you are, you will get turn at "Poster Appearance". Similar to hosting Heat, Raw or Smackdown at WWF New York.

you got that right seven. there was a time where the rock, austin, and HHH took that next step, and it is now jericho's time. remember, he is a living legend, the one who beat the rock and austin in the same night, austin the very next night in a steel cage, the rock at the following pay per view. maint event baby, just look at my sig pic and disagree

It will be very interesting to see if Jericho runs with the ball so to speak until and maybe even after Wrestlemania... it amazes me that the WWF doesn't give this man more television time.. he is the damn world champion... give the guy more serious mic time and let him be a serious respected damn champion.

I bet it's gonna be a Austin vs. Hollywood Hogan as the main event with Jericho vs. HHH the second to last match. Remember, Hogan always main events a Wrestlemania, as do Austin, two of the biggest icons in their respective eras. I don't know where the Rock fits in all that, but he'll probably be against the Outsiders or something.
I hope Jericho finally gets Stephanie away from HHH. With that match, it could go either way as far as who's winning at Wrestlemania.

Well if you look at the first post of this thread you'll notice that the WWF has changed the WrestleMania X8 poster from Y2J and Steph to a spraypainted nWo logo.

i wouldn't put too much stock in anything the wwf puts out be4 the actual event remeber when everyone found out who the winner was gonna be between luger bret hart and yokozuna? they changed it just to surprise..plus i heard wwf was trying to clamp down on leaks of angles so they might just put that out to let you think you know what'll happen

They put out the posters to start contraversy and rumers. If you can remember the Vengance poster had HHH on it. There was no HHH at Vengance. I admit i got suckerd...but NEVER AGAIN!!
