Can't answer the second question, but it looks like they are just selling the site, or something. It said something about people who still have money in their accounts can get refunds.

it was a genius idea, and now it looks like the feds may legalize online gambling to raise revenues--I'd say that's a lock after the election.

You have to have regulatory oversight for something like that, though, in ways that haven't been worked out yet. For example, what was the assurance that a finite number of people were allowed in an "auction," and how do we know that the winner wasn't predetermined, or, for that matter, that the winner wasn't a fake and there was no award given at all?

There haven't been any auctions on 100dollardreams.com in over 3 weeks... I Still have like 20 bucks wrapped up in their site. Was this a scam? I emailed their support and they told me to contact paypal for a refund. (i'm in the process) But this doesn't make sense to me as the paypal transfer was long ago completed...

Anyone know whats up?

I only used the site for the free give aways. My advice, have it free only and make your money from the sponsored ads. You guys will kick ass...

Not thinking of starting 100dollardreams.. that website design is horrible imo.. and its too slow/ doesnt follow policies(hence the shutdown).

But yes we are NOT part of 100dollardreams management and we will be launching a seat auction website within a months time. It will be fully transparent. Would anyone on this forum be further interested in being updated on release date and such?

Yeah, Disney is probably just mad because he missed the boat and didn't get in on any of the fun. I know several folks on here were big winners but unfortunately I never won anything. I tried like hell though. Most of us here are 25-35 year old males with plenty of expendable income so sites like 100dollardreams really appeal to us as a way to try and throw a little cash around and come out with great prizes. If the site would have lasted longer I know I could have won some cool stuff. Since it's been gone I haven't really found any way to spend the leisure time that I spent participating in the auctions. I've thought about going to the OTB here in town but that doesn't seem quite as fun. Hope you get your site going soon!!!
