I wonder if theres some kind of group that facilitates independent theaters with getting prints of movies. I live near one and almost every movie they've had this summer (they get one a week) is on that list, and its stuff thats been out for awhile.

The Girl Who Played With Fire is actually a sequel, so if you haven't seen the first movie, The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, don't see the second one. It's a nice series, so you might want to catch it, the first one is out on DVD/Blu-Ray.

Restrepo is a very nice war doc.

Tucker & Dale vs Evil is fucking hilarious, must see, IMO.

Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is available instant on netflix. It might be nice to catch them both as the whole series is probably getting an American remake. For some reason there is an insane amount of chatter about the first one, which they're only just casting.

Castaway on the Moon and Collapse look great. See as many docs as you can in case they're hard to find later on.

There has been so much press about the remake you'd think it was going to be a big summer blockbuster, but reading the wikipedia it seems like a somewhat intellectual mystery, and certainly seems like a hard R. If the hype continues to build I dont know how they're going to manage. They're already asking Fincher questions about the sequels.
