My Grandmother is a highlander

That is to say there is only one now. I had three Grandma's due to a divorce well before I was born. Last night I lost the second of three (first was when I was 13ish). I don't really have anyone out here to talk about feelings, but I am also not sure on how to feel. She was in bad shape and I am glad thats over with, but I also feel bad that she is gone. I saw her and my Grandfather a month or so and she looked fine, I thought it would be the last time I saw him. Not much to say but thats it. I hope you have enjoyed the rambling.

I never thought about this, but do you think that there was some kid somewhere who was resentful of one of his "new" grandmothers, due to divorce/remarriage, the way some kids are to step-parents. So, would there ever be an angry utterance of "YOU'RE NOT MY REAL GRANDMA!"

Not really, because grandparents are doting types, not really authoritarians.

My brother's kids have three grandmas/grandpas, and so does my daughter, kind of - my father in law hasn't remarried yet but he's engaged.
