SweePea - You're right, I'm about to be a Dad and I have been innundated with all things cute and babyish for the past 5 months. I came across this website and it just made me laugh. Check it out...

http://www.somethingawful.com/features/childrensbooks/

Don't worry, I'm going to be a very normal Dad who will cherish my child and protect him/her with all of the ferocity of a Grizzly Bear.

Sometimes sick is just funny.

I am so disappointed. These Children Book covers
made me laugh so hard.

I was hoping to have another chuckle today, and
then..ewwwww...

Now they have been replaced with some nasty
close-ups of " I don't wanna know" stuff.

this happened.
This is really messed up.. and a little scary.

threads ever.

Hope you can recover the original, funny images.

The only thing I can guess (other than someone outside hacking into the post and changing the pics) was that the website I took the pics from (www.somethingawful.com) does not allow remote linking of images and ensures that no one does it by having that picture show when you link to another pic from their site.

It should count! I love it too. But it's just not a book from your childhood.

I had so many favorites:
Green Eggs and Ham (Dr. Suess)
Courderoy
Goodnight Moon
Winnie the Pooh
Secret Garden (my mom read it to me)
Where the Wild Things Are
Berenstein Bears (Afraid of the Dark is the best one)
The Lorax (Dr. Suess)
I could keep going so I'll stop now!
