You are right. Pro Wrestling is a sport where any other athlete works more than 350 days a year. Hulk never did.

The WWF was the first promotion to squeeze their talent so hard. Most regions ran one to two shows a week. Even in Hogan's Japan tours, he would work a group of dates, then have a half a month to recover. Have you seen Hogan "work" good matches on a consistent basis?

I am not disputing that Hogan didn't have contracts with various promotions and I am not suggesting that he wasn't popular, I am saying that he is the ne'er-do-well wifefucker of wrestlers; lazy, stuff and annoying.
