Caught the first couple of episodes. It's a pretty good show

Saw the one last night about the beauty queen going missing. I did like it, pretty much, but the implausible ending really did sort of ruin it for me. It seemed like sort of a forced happy ending.

It certainly does make much better use of its setting than that "Justified" show ever made use of Kentucky. Memphis is one of those cool, quirky cities that's unlike any other in the country. Use that.

I'm waiting for Rizzoli and Isles.

I have been watching the "My name is detective Earl" show and have come to the conclusion that "First 48" has been lying to us all, apparently all the crime in Memphis is commited by white folks.
Seriously, the show is turning me off with its politcal correctness. Would it be racist of them to inject a little reality into their story lines?

I'm posting this here because this piece of shit show doesn't deserve its own thread.

But, seriously, this Rizzoli and Isles show on TNT is pure 100% shit. Fucking awful.

First, we have a lame serial killer character who's just like Hannibal Lecter, except much stupider and way faggier. Seriously, if Miggs had had this loser as his next-door cellmate, he would have just laughed in his face and kept throwing jizz in FBI agents' faces. He might be the least intimidating serial killer character I've ever seen.

And then comes the awful Lorraine Bracco playing the mother of one of the characters. It's such a phony Italian accent that it sounds like something out of one of Anthony's Jersey Guys bits. It's one of the signs of what a great show The Sopranos was that her awful presence didn't ruin it. Put her in a show that's already garbage, and it's just that much worse.

I'm waiting for Rizzoli and Isles.
That was a nice Animal House callback by D Day last night!
