I was recently thinking about how much I hate when Fez steers the show off the road into a ditch of self pity. However, I realized that this is just part of the show and I don't feel the show would be the same without him. For one thing he provides a great antagonist in this comedic melodrama. Sometimes I wonder whether its all a fix and he's really not a crazy as he lets on. The hack callers are also just part of the show IMO. As far as hack posters, well I haven't been around long enough to know about that.

If Ronnie doesn't involve Fez by insulting him ("nice summary", "you have any lists to go over today, Fez", etc.) and setting it up so the callers pile up on him, then he'd not be at all involved in the show. It's Ron's job to fill the time between the beginning and the end of each show with interesting radio. Look at what he's got to work with! I don't know who has a harder job, him or Obama. East Side Dave left radio for the SAME EXACT REASONS I did. He wanted more money, he wasn't getting it, so he had to make a decision and he decided to leave.

I'm not saying I'm anywhere nearly as talented as Dave, but we ended our radio careers the same way.

A guy a few weeks ago when they were talking about Red Bull said he worked in Miami and that clubs paid him in order to be able to sell Red Bull.

The main reason I've always liked Ron and Fez is that it's different than most talk radio. I want Fez to feel better. I don't want him to "nut up" though and talk and strippers and farting, or whatever dull news story everyone else on television and radio are talking about. The biggest laugh I got all week was when Fez said- I said Sprint (dramatic pause, muffled crying) instead of Spirit (more crying). I'm interested to see where this goes. Will Fez get better, or will we find out he's a serial killer? I like the show as it is. I just miss Dave.

The only callers that annoy me are the ones that call up with something they learned only an hour ago on the Opie And Anthony Show. Trying to come off as informed when they're repeating O&A or an O&A call-in word for word is obnoxious and it happens at least twice a show. As far as anti-Fez stuff, Fez should be able to handle hecklers like any entertainer should. I haven't kept up as much but it always seemed he got his fair share of people on his side too. Even of the ones who disagree, half start their call with "I love you Fez but..."
