Since I seem to be checking out so many sports of late, here's a thread to look into one of the 4 tennis majors.

The main reason for it now is that EPIC match is finally over and once again the US beat the French!

Isner wins the final set three days later 70 to 68!!

The winner was going to be shot in the tourny anyway.

I don't think they have anything left in the tank.

It doesn't even matter. There is no way I'd want to lose that match, regardless of what happens next, after putting in almost 3 days of play.

And who knows? They aren't exactly top seeds at this point, even if Isner is low ranked and considered an up and comer. Regardless of Isner now having his best finish or getting knocked off in the next match, he's surely going to remember this match, as will most of the fans.

They played over 11 hours of tennis to complete this f'n match!
