Here it is 3am and I'm watching "On The Beach". This movie mever fails to me move to tears. When I watch the end of the movie, I just start to well up with tears. Especially when they pass out the cyanide.
Anyone else?

I totally beleived that they would make it to Alaska see it was ok, get some survivors and restart the world.
I couldn't beleive the end.
This is the way the World will end;
Not in a bang but a whimper.

Man, I loved that film. I am a big fan of those early '60's Cold War end of the world films. Films like Fail Safe, Dr Strangelove, even the Manchurian Candidate.
