I just finished "Moby Dick" for about the fifth time. I just love going back to that book every few years and I always get something new out of it!!

"Atlas Shrugged," by Ayn Rand. A perennial favorite in the Mensa poll.

Ikea,
I read that 15 years ago-- it's a good book! I could relate to it far too much.
Actually, rightnow I'm reading The Diary of Anne Frank.

Two real short ones. God and the State, and the Immorality of the State both by Mikail Bakunin. And some book about CIA involvement in global drug trafficking.

Koontz and Deaver are usually great reads with action, suspense and well researched topics. As for the Mensa folk, I really wouldn't think they read for the same reason as us common folk. Dam Cletus, you could call your mom from up there! "Hey Ma! Get off the dang rooooof!"

The Diary of Anne Frank is amazing. I bought my copy in Amsterdam and read it just before going into the house where she was hiding. I could barely hold it together.

Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe
Candide by Voltaire
The Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer
Paradise Lost by John Milton
The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand
The Catcher In the Rye by J.D. Salinger
Hard Times by Charles Dickens

Some of the books I read recently were "A Confederacy of Dunces", very funny. "Johnny Got His Gun", and "The Lion's Den"
The only time I have a drinking problem is when I don't have a drink
I just read Catch-22 for the 3rd time and consider that a "Must-Read"
Vonnegut, Irving, and Hemmingway always do it for me otherwise.
