I'm a 30 year old man, who has been fortunate enough to have a high metabolism. Losing weight has never been an issue for me, but I lack muscle and definition. I've tried boxing, and running track and I seem to stay motivated for a few weeks and then I lose it, and stop going all together. I've never been considered a gym rat, but I can say I definitely would love to say going to the gym is my daily habit
How do you all keep your motivation? Does anyone else experience the highs and lows?
Any tips to keep me going once I feel the low?:help:

consider it a second job
that you must report to
every day

If you're trying to bulk up, put yourself on a program and track your progress. When you're making progress every week and you can see it on paper, it keeps you pretty motivated.

yep. nobody truly "likes" going to the gym. you really do like how you feel after you go though. i usually compare it to the fact that I don't "like" getting up early in the morning and going to my job, but at the end of the day I'm proud of what I do. its a second job and its all on you, be a man and go.
