I am pushing guys out of my life because I am to shy to meet them. There is 2 guys (they're both 18) that really like me (well atlease they say they do.) I've known them both for a couple months. But I'm to shy to meet them. I'm guessing its because I've never really had guys like me that way. And I think they just want me to be their f buddy. And I'm like hiding for them because of a past experience I had w/ a guy I guess. I dunno...can anyone help me?? Please <3 SweetPea

yeah, go and meet them, you have nothing to lose. just because you hang out with them doesnt mean you have to have sex with them. i can understand you not wanting to let your guard down and get hurt, but give them a chance to really get to know you and you get to know them.

If these 2 guys are from the internet, DON'T MEET THEM! Internet people are scary, they could be murderers. I would NEVER EVER meet people from the internet. that's such a crazy and scary thought.

-Effmeboobs & RFMark- LoL Yea why would I want to do such a silly thing like that? I did meet them online, but one lives 2 towns over & the other one is like 30 mins away from me.

I was talking to both the guy today, and one IMed me wanna hook up so I told him no, cause I dont want to be his f buddy..and he said well we wouldnt f!! And the other one is mad at me cause he thinks Im lying about why I dont want to meet him, even thought I've told him time and time again that its because I'm really shy. Oh well I'm living a soap opera!

I had the same problem when I was in H.S.. I was really shy just like you. I,m not relly shy anymore everyonce an awhile when I aporche a beauitiful girl and start to talkig to her. I just suck it up becasue you never know what might happen. Most of the time I get no as an answer. owell there loss. Just take your time you have a long life in front of you but if you really like the 2 boys well then suck it up and hang out with them rember its up to you if you want to have sex.

SWEATPEA - Hon, you describe these guys as really liking you, yet you also describe them as wanting you as a "f-buddy." You indicate that you aren't interested in that type of relationship.

In light of this, why do you describe yourself as "pushing guys out of my life." You're not interested in them, or what they seem to offer. Of course you push them away! You should.

SweetPea, I would stay away from this one "getting mad" at someone you never met is not a good start, he sounds volatile...

I would not rule out "meeting people online" I'm sure not everyone "online" is a wierdo or creep. Meeting online is only words on a computer screen. Point is to never meet them in person alone, always have some others around til you learn more of him, he of you, and you built a level of Trust...

Again! Stay away from men/boys who "get mad" at the very beginning of the relationship. He is trying to manipulate you with "fear" so you would go out with him. If he's successful the first time, he will try it again, and it may get worse...

Awww I just hugged my computer...since I cant really hug all you guys and girls! Thanks dfor all the advice! I'm so glad I came to this board, cause I've asked my friends what to do, but most of them are around my age. It's just nice to have cool older people to talk to. :)

I know they could probably go out and find girls off line. Jim (he lives a couple towns away from me. He also the one that IMed me asking if I wanted to hook up.) he is a fire fighter, and is on the NYPD Fleet services, and hes a nice looking guy, so I'm sure he can find girls. I dont really talk to him that much, maybe 2 or 3 times a week. When we do talk he asks me to help him find girls for him.
And Tom I talk to him every day on line, and on the phone. But he has a low self esteem. And he hasnt had a girlfriend since 99. But he has been hurt by girls alot, and I guess he is just protecting himself from being hurt again. He wasnt really mad cause I wasnt meeting him, but when I tell him why, he just says 'yea whatever' So I dont know where all of this is going, but I'll keep ya posted.

zathrus its not exactly my first time dealing w/ guys. I really think my reasoning for me not wanting to hang out w/ them is because of some pretty tough stuff I've been through with guys. So I dont really trust anyone.
