MP3 file cleanup

Is there any program out there that will clean up mp3 file names? I cant down load album art because a bunch of my files have screwed up names - album title before song title, dashes, etc.


anyone else have this problem / solve this problem?

I use my Zune software to manage the library as far as art goes. The most reliable way to edit metadata that doesn't involve paying for a tag editor that I've found is Windows Vista explorer.

My wife's music library is full of unknown this and mispelled that. It drives me nuts, but it's the only thing in my life that I really get obsessive over. The best thing is to stay on top of organizing your library, rather than letting it go and attempting to clean it all up at once.

i've been using TagScanner for almost ten years for every MP3 i've ever acquired ... nothing's filed away in my library without being scrubbed and re-tagged

itunes will mostly pick up the album art itself, but google images search helps fill out the gaps

there's also some third party software that will analyze your library and auto-correct and complete the info, but i've never used any
