I know this means nothing to most of you but damn, it's a big deal for me.
Leeds have been languishing in the third tier of English football for three years after been in the Champions league Semi Final not too long ago. Due to mismanagement we have been deducted 15 points, gone through 3 owners, four different managers, bankrupty and god knows what else,
but.
FINALLy!!! We made it! Finally we've been promoted back into the championship and hopefully we can build on this and get back where we belong in the premiership.
On my way back from Elland Road as we speak. Tonight is gonna be Hazy!

Congrats!
Mismanagement is a bit of an understatement. You guys looked great in your home cup game against Spurs.

Here's my question about promotion/relegation: how much of a chance do they have of staying up?
I think in terms of American sports, and think about how if a AAA team, like, say, Columbus, got promoted to MLB, they would struggle. They'd have to start paying major league salaries, probably expand their faculities, and that might put them at a disadvantage
It's a cool concept, but how well does it actually work?
Ok, my question is more about being promoted to the Premiership, but I still wonder.
I pray that one day Arsenal is relegated.
Just to hurt Knox.

alot of times teams do end up going right back down, but they have a chance not to. It goes the other way too, usually the teams come right back up after next year too. But still they get changes and so its still awesome. and you do get monetary help either way

I hope everyone that plays for Chelsea gets shot and killed in South Africa.
Starting with Drogba.

also you have to keep in mind most teams dont have to expand or do much different. Relegation has been in so long they are ready for it. You get balloon payments when you move up and parachutes when you move down. they handle it pretty well

Fuck Leeds. You screwed Brian Clough, so you deserve to suffer in obscurity. I have despised Leeds ever since ... well, ever since I saw Damned United about 2 months ago.
