i got fixed yesterday ( snip snip ) and the doctor gave me some percocet 7.5s for the discomfort. i noticed that after i take them if i stand up i start to get nauseous and feel like i'm gonna barf. when i sit back down it clears up. had anyone else ever ran into this ? just curious.

it happens occasionally. Especially when you are new to it.

I've never had a problem. You may be codeine sensitive though. Codeine based products mess with some people's stomachs.

percocet does not have codeine in it. And I always kept eating them until I passed out, so i was always light headed.

you are sorta both right. Once into your body,. its converted into the same thing codeine converts to. which is essentially morphine, just not as strong as the regular morphine.

It all comes from the same place so it all ends up the same shit inside you. Codeine just isnt as strong as oxycodone

if you are a weed smoker or can get it, smoke a bowl within 10-15 min of eating the perc. it will really help with the nausea and make you feel more fucked up too

I've been on percs for almost a year recovering from fucked up back, and surgery 2 months ago.

Try cutting them in half - take half, then if you're feeling ok, take the other half. Also helps to lie down right when taking them. Also, make sure you have something in your stomach before taking them. If I take my dose in the AM with no food, I'll get really gross nauseous.

I started on 5mg, anything stronger would make me REALLY awful nauseous. I'm on 7.5mg now and it doesn't bother me.

You can also take a tagmet before, it settles your stomach AND it potentates the dose.

Just keep taking them. The nausea will be gone by the next time you go to the doctor complaining of generic back pain

that will happen, yes, esp if you dont drink alot of water or gatorade and esp if you have something with a low filler like a 10/325 as opposed to a 10/500

if they arent working on the pain ask for 10's and see what the dr says. OR SMOKE WEED

10/325 will get you just as constipated as 10/650... you're taking the exact same amount of Oxycodone into your system.

You have to just drink a LOT of water or it gets really bad. Or take Senacot.

After I had my back surgery, I didn't shit for 5 straight days because of all the narcotics they pumped me up with during the surgery, and the 50mg of oxycodone a day I was on... it was brutal. Even senacot didn't work.

I've been taking 7.5 + one bitten in half 7.5 when my back really acts up (rather than 1 7.5), and I bit too big of a 2nd half today and have the awful nausea.

Also, if you can get ahold of meclizine (anti nausea) it helps, but it also will make you more looped out... gonna take some now and hopefully kill the nasty nausea.

The first poop after my first surgery was pretty painful. I was taking two 5s at a time. Had surgery again a week and a half later, started muching on combos of 5s and 7.5s (sometimes two 7.5s if I just wanted to nod off all day). The first time I dumped out after that was one of the worst experiences of my life.

But, at least I don't take percs for fun anymore...
