The Olympics- Care?

every couple of years or so, apparently an event called the Olympics come to this globe. From the awful commercials on WNEW with the two retards spouting fascinating bits of incredulity such as "He CAN'T do that" and "But he has leopard coloured hair so thus then he cannot be a participant in these events" I can assume that the Olympics will be happening, and happening soon.

So what I ask the members of RF.net is this- do you care about the Olympics? Do you care who wins? Can you name opponents? Will you watch?

Personally, I do not care.

i personally dont really care...once its over ill be happy to hear that the US won a bunch of metals, and maybe ill watch some of the hockey games, but i doubt it.

To an extent I care, though not as much as atlanta. Im rooting for Sarah Hughes from LI to bring the gold home and I'll definatly will be watching hockey.

The summer olympics usually don't interest me at all. For some reason, I like the winter ones, although this year I'm not yet excited. But at the very least, the hockey games should be good.

I could not care less if I tried...I cannot stand Figure skating and crap like that. I will probably watch the hockey because a lot of my favorite NHL players will be there. But other than that I don't even pay attention

About a week and a half after the Super Bowl...that is the worst time fro sports. When football ends and baseball begins...ESPN2 has no choice but to show donkey basketball reruns...
As to the question at hand, I dont give a rats ass about the olympics. Frankly, I feel that it is going to f*** up a lot of NHL teams. I mean there is the All-Star Game, and then the Olympic Break. My Isles are probably going to get all thrown out of whack as a result. Or they can emerge more victorious cause not too many Isles are represented in either...

I'm going out to the Olympics for two weeks to see a bunch of different events, including 8 men's hockey games, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Even if I were staying home, I'd be pretty much glued to the TV. I like the Winter Games much more than the Summer Games.
