Now whenever someone knocks on my door selling shit, I still dont buy, but I hear them out and offer them a drink and the bathroom.

I noticed someone put busing tables. You have lived a lucky life if that's the most degrading thing you have had to do for money. I had a lot of fun busing tables when I was a teenager.

Mine is telemarketing. We didn't call people but answered the phone when they saw our misleading adds. We were told to lie. Long story but we were selling overpriced phone books that the company claimed was "program" to get people jobs teaching English in Asia. The job was basically avoiding saying the word "book" when 92% of the people would say, "wait, you aren't assisting me in finding a teaching position? You are just selling me a book with the phone numbers of Asian schools that might hire me?"

I only lasted a couple of months. found a job painting houses and then went back to school.
