Lasagna from a diner? In NYC? I almost threw up in my mouth.
Makes a ton of money. What does he spend it on, a Croc collection.
4 star this mother fucker.
There has to be a "secret holders" dining club. Meet people, eat good food, break the cycle.
Please tell me he puts ketchup on the lasagna.

I've seen TSAM on broadcast TV and its kind of funny how they have to edit out the JO scene/setup but will leave in the punchline having it make no sense whatsoever

what the fuck does 'catch as catch can' mean?
Catch as Catch Can (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catch_wrestling) is a form of carnival hook wrestling from the 19th century.
To be honest, when he said "Catch as Catch Can" being a Saturday thing I thought he was talking about trying to trying to pick up someone at a bar. I am not sure how Whatley's nutty family attributes the name of a sport with obvious homosexual overtones to mealtime.
He screamed at Dave because Dave had no idea what it meant.
Which is hilarious because Fez's contributions to the show are usually observations about commonplace things that confuse Fez. "Catch as Catch Can" is as modern and ubiquitous a phrase as "peachy keen" or "gee willikers."

I'm thinking we can make something positive of this.
A bunch of people promise to eat like Fez for a week if Fez promises to make one change in his diet. One meal of a healthy choice for just 1 night of his schedule just one resonably healthy meal out of seven.

I was trapped in my house with no food this weekend and subsided on Captain Crunch, pizza and dr. pepper, does that count?
I'd be willing to try it, but I'm not the most healthy eater there is.
But not this week, there is too much corned beef to be eaten.

I'm so glad that Fez jumped in Dave's shit for his fucked up unprofessional paniced sports fail on Saturday night. Dave proved once again that he is a talentless stuntboy. Fez ate Dave's lunch and will continue to do so until Dave leaves radio for Mr Dougs insurance ripoff business. That whole KC, Dave shit storm, two kids in two years mess was a radio bit for Daves fame gone bad.

I couldn't agree more. Fez set ESD straight, then proceeded to show him how radio should be done for the next 3 hours. ESD needs to reconsider his dream of having his own show. Fez makes it look easy, but I think ESD found out Saturday night how hard it is to carry a show for an hour, let alone the four hours Fez does everyday.

Seriously? You must have heard a different show than me. Fez attacked ESD, and then ESD verbally raped him while trying to focus on an audition. Fez was petty and jealous, and his "critique" was not constructive.
ESD's show was OK. He did yell a lot, but it wasn't too annoying. As long as he puts some bass in it instead of the high-pitched version he sometimes does it actually could be a decent hook for him.

I think he was being sarcastic.

I don't see Fez's criticisms as being petty or jealous. Based on most of the conversations that Ron and Fez have on the show about Fez's neuroses, Fez is trying to behave like he believes a person in his role is supposed to. In this case, he is trying to act like he thinks a mentor is supposed to. Were his criticisms poorly timed? Sure. Did they seem mean? Yes.
The funny thing is that Dave was criticizing a fan for getting in his ear during his SpikeTV audition preparation and affecting his concentration. This is the same Dave who doesn't sympathize with Fez's claim that Dave cackling in his ear during the show is distracting.
He is competing with 65+ people who probably could handle distractions better than him.

Dave's cackling seems very overblown to me and seems like a crappy Fez excuse. Someone sitting next to Dave, while he is reading a script, and trying to have a conversation with him seems a little different to me.

I'll agree there. But if you are Dave and think someone making small talk with you before an audition can screw up your concentration, how could you not have sympathy for someone wanting the same peaceful environment during his performance?
Dave and Fez are both projecting their professional inabilities.
If Dave is hungry, he needs to get more serious about his ambition. He needs to prepare and practice. He also needs to know that it took him a while to gain the love of the "Ron and Fez" audience. He needs to adjust his game to get jobs in the mainstream.
If Fez is serious about overcoming his psychological problems, he needs to stop thinking of his problems as being outside of himself. There is nobody who can take his happiness away from him. There is nobody who can ruin his day. I think Fez likes the idea of regimentation and external control because it creates excuses for not making decisions. By not making decisions, he can blame a third-party for his misery. Currently, his dissatisfaction is his fault.
What do any of the above have to do with Fez's diet? take this stuff to the Red MacDonald thread
Good point. I do want to know if someone is going to actually participate in the Fez Whatley diet. I'd do it here, but I cannot get American-style pizza or Chinese food here and a half-a-box of cereal would be like a little more than one and a half times the size of a normal bowl of cereal in the states.
Anyone game for the Morgan Spurlock 30 Day challenge?

I could never be on any sort of food schedule. It would drive me insane.
At least with the Chinese food you could switch it up a little bit, but he just orders the same damn thing every time.
I would just be so sick of all that stuff by the second week.

Fezzie's menu makes sense for a person who claims to have a food addiction. By sticking to a routine, he can ensure he sets at least some kind of limit for himself. If he allows himself options, he will make poor choices, and in his case that could lead to a much earlier grave.
So lay off the poor guy.

You see his choices? The only way he could do worse is if he decided to eat a tub of backfat every meal.

Obviously it could be healthier, but it could also be much, much worse. He's explained what his eating binges are like. However caloric a cheeseburger meal is, an eating binge is going to be far worse.

You know, I hadn't thought of it that way. It's a very valid point. It's right in the middle--it's not healthy, but it's not a binge. If he tried to make himself eat healthy, he might not be able to stick with it. But he can stick with limiting the "bad" stuff that he loves.
