So I have WAY more games on Steam than I have hard drive space on my Macbook. I don't want to fuck around with have an external hooked up to it, but I was looking at the Time Capsule and the whole wireless thing caught my attention. I tried reading up on it, but I keep reading the same shit over. Anyone know if you can install and play games on it?

Its important that you should know to perform this install while submerged in a bathtub or lake. (provided you have a long enough extension cord)
I assume you are an adult and should not overly concern yourself with game preservation.
What in the hell is wrong with you?

It's technically possible, in that the Time Capsule's drive can be pulled up in Finder like any other external drive you hook up to it.
But any game you attempted this on would run like absolute ass. The wi-fi connection is way slower than the SATA connection your internal hard drive is on, and even slower than a USB or FireWire connection.
If you're running out of disk space, get a new internal hard drive. Macs use the same hard drives as PC's, and it's actually pretty easy to replace the hard drive. Just take the bottom plate off, and you should see the hard drive right there.

Hmmm... Now mebbe this is bullshit, I've only had a Mac for a month and a half, but I recall reading somewhere that Macbooks can't handle more than a 250gb. Something to do with overheating.

Not that I'm aware of. It's a standard SATA connection.

I just picked up a WD Passport, more than good enough. Thread rendered useless (well, even more I suppose)

Install FanControl. My MBP had been overheating. I installed this and it hasn't happened since.

Or just reset the SMC. On older Macbooks with removable batteries, take the battery out, unplug it, and hold the power button down for about 10 seconds. On newer ones without the removable battery, press the left Shift key, Control, and Option at the same time as the power button, releasing all keys after a press.
One of the things that the SMC controls is fan speed, and reloading the default settings often helps fix problems where the fan is not running correctly.
