The problems keep piling up for Sulzbergers empire as it is crumbling. Financial losses, scandals and more of this. Does anyone outside the upper west side even buy this rag?

I have to admit that the Times op-Ed is pretty unreadable. Frank Rich is borderline unreadable, Bob Herbert IS unreadable, and Maureen Dowd is boring.

Bob Herbert IS unreadable
Its Bobby Hebert but it's also Bob Herbert. Fascinating.
At least he's not pedantic.

Among the examples was a sentence from Journal reporter Amir Efrati that read, "Mr. Picard said the family received about $141 million in the six months leading up to Mr. Madoff's December 2008 arrest." The letter pointed out that Kouwe's version read, "Mr. Picard said the family received about $141 million in the six months leading up to Mr. Madoff's arrest in December 2008."
well Jesus, how many different ways can you report such a simple fact/statement?

Why's it called the Grey Lady?
And why can't WRESTLINGFAN call anyone or anything by it's fucking name? Jobless Juan loves his nicknames.

Why's it called the Grey Lady?
The Gray Lady, a nickname for The New York Times newspaper, in reference to its tradition of presenting many words and few pictures

Did the both reporters get a statement from Mr. Picard?
The only problem I could see, is stealing the information. It isn't exactly creative writing.
Isn't it Capt. Picard?

your post is unreadable.
It's paraphrasing Seinfeld.
The " Big Salad " episode when George is talking to the girl and trying to sound like he's knowlegeable.
She mentions she reads Bob Herbert and he spins it to talk about Bobby Hebert.
Then she mentions some other writer can be a " bit pedantic " and George agrees w/ her not knowing what she's talking about.
