I'm going to be going to Phoenix Arizona for 4 days in March. I've never been there before. What things are there to see and do there?
Thanks.

Wow, I'm kind of surprised with all of this Phoenix bashing. I lived in various places throughout the valley from '01-'07. I can give plenty of recommendations. First a few questions.
Restaurants
-There are tons of great eateries in the valley of all genres. Here are a few recommendations that come to mind:
-Richardson's- Unbelievable New Mexican food. Best Carne Adovado I've ever had.
-Blue Adobe Grille- Another good New Mexican joint.
-Flo's - Asian
-Pita Jungle
-Cafe Boa - Italian
Actually, this may go on too long. If you could send me a message with how long you are staying, what you're looking to do etc., I can give better info.

I'll be there for 4 days the second week of March. What type of sight seeing/tourists spots are there? How about a good steak place or lobster seafood place.
Thanks again.

What part of the Valley are you going to be in? Scottsdale? Tempe? Mesa? Phoenix proper? Glendale (ugh)

For seafood, go to the Salt Cellar. It's this underground (literally) spot in South Scottsdale that is fantastic. It's away from everything and sort of hard to spot but quite good. For a good steak, I again recommend Richardson's. It's New Mexican cuisine but they have steak and seafood on the menu. It's in North Central Phoenix off the 51 if I remember correctly.
As far as sightseeing, I would recommend a trip up to Sedona if possible. It's about 2 hours north. March offers spring training baseball all over if that's of interest. Pinacle Peak, Camelback, Squaw Peak and/or South Mountain all make for a good hike and are all in the valley. Cave Creek is also a cool desert town about 40 minutes or so north of Phoenix. Il Cantino has fantasic Mexican food if you make it up there. You're going to have perfect weather this time of year.

Agree on the Salt Cellar. Not sure about Sedona because it's a whole day trip to get up there and Sinestro didn't say if he was on business or not.
I also suggest the PHX Zoo and the Botanical Gardens, which are right next to each other.
I also recommend Mill Avenue in Tempe to get some local flavor.
In n Out Burger. THIS IS NOT NEGOTIABLE.
In Chandler - Chino Bandido.
For a nice breakfast - Cafe Carumba in Scottsdale
